India's Road to the semi-finals - New Zealand beat India by 10 runs. India beat Pakistan and Sri Lanka convincingly to qualify for the Semi-finals.

Australia's Road to Semi-finals - They tied the first game against England and they had a one over eliminator, which was also a tie but Australia Women won on the count-back to 6's. Australia beat South Africa by 24 runs and they also beat West Indies by 9 runs.

Mithali Raj has been in top-form for the Indian team, and she is also the leading run scorer. Sulakshana Naik has also done well with the bat, their main challenge was against New Zealand and they lost by 10 runs. Amita Sharma could be the key for India in scoring some quick runs when needed.

Poulton has been the leading run scorer for Australia.

In the bowling department, Diana David for India has been the leading wicket taker with 9 wickets and for Australia it has been Sthalekar with 5 wickets.
