Darryl Leith has held a variety of positions in cricket. He was the Zimbabwe national cricket teams domestic liason officer, between April 1999 to July 2005. He worked on 16 Tests and 49 ODIs with Zimbabwe. In the 2003 World Cup he was Zimbabwe's liason officer and dressing room attendant. In 2004, the Zimbabwe Cricket Union appointed him as the liason officer to South Africa A. He was also on the first-class umpires panel from 2001 to 2005, and served with the Matabeleland Cricket Umpires and Scorers Association, as well as the Zimbabwe Cricket Unions Umpires and Scorers Association.
Nowadays he is Surrey's dressing room attendant.
