4.2 to NRD Compton, caught behind! Umpire Dharmasena checks with the leg umpire to see if the catch was clean but Compton's not waiting. The catch is fine. Compton stayed in his crease and poked at a short of a length ball that rose and was on its way down as it passed the batsman. It took the outside edge and Dhoni had to stoop to take the catch.. 3/1
10.3 to AN Cook, Sharma has got one. That never looked out. Poor umpiring. Length ball, angling away after pitching on off, hitting him outside the line too. Atrocious call from umpire Dharamsena. Not one ball has swung this morning, and you can't give this out when the ball is not swinging or seaming. There have been quite a few umpiring shockers this series, and this is close to the most shocking ones. 16/2
116.2 to TT Bresnan, yes, that's Dhoni. That bowling change has worked like a charm. Length ball, just outside off, swinging in, Bresnan's inside edge is beaten, and he is hit flush in front. They ask Bresnan to wait, checking for a no-ball, and Ishant has some part behind the crease. 242/7

49.4 to IJL Trott, left alone and bowled him! What was Trott thinking?! Maybe he had fallen asleep... Jadeja pushed through a regulation delivery that didn't turn, went on with the arm and Trott simply allowed it through, bat pointed at the sky, just a tickle of off stump but that's all it takes and Jadeja has his first wicket in Test cricket!. 102/3
67.3 to KP Pietersen, loose flick into the leg side and taken low by midwicket and now England are really wobbling. And that sums up England's cricket today, rather careless and that was really lazy from Pietersen, chipping a length ball into midwicket and the fielder gets down low and takes it with two hands. 139/5
21.516943.16956100
60.5 to IR Bell, lulled him, chipped to short extra-cover and gone! Chawla has one now, and there goes that fist pump in celebration. Another daft dismissal, really, the ball was full and outside the line of off, Bell leaned into a drive but didn't get fully over the ball and merely popped it straight to the fielder, a low catch but a straight forward one. Bell perhaps betraying a little anxiousness at his slow scoring rate. 119/4
139.1 to JE Root, return chance and gone, Chawla takes the catch off his own bowling and Root has to depart! It's been a fantastic debut knock but another attempt to lift the tempo stops him a little way short of what would have been a marvellous hundred. He came down the wicket to a looping delivery outside off, tried to close the face and work the ball through midwicket but got a leading edge back to the bowler. 302/8
143.4 to GP Swann, got him this time, trapped in front by one that went straight on! Actually, this didn't look as out as the one Tucker declined, perhaps he felt guilty, but Swann tried to reverse-dab through the off side, ended up missing a legbreak that didn't turn much, hit on the pad in front of middle and leg to end an important knock. 325/9
145.5 to JM Anderson, nudged off the pad, straight to short leg, great, instinctive catch from Pujara! That wraps up the England innings, then, Anderson popping the ball into Pujara's bread basket off the face of the bat, he had no time to think about it but clung on superbly - and that gives Chawla 4 for 69, his best figures in Tests. 330/10

114.6 to MJ Prior, bowled'im. Timber. Well bowled Ashwin. An over full of flighted deliveries, bringing the batsman forward all the time. That's the best chance you have on this pitch. Tossed up on of middle and off, Prior plays for the turn, the ball doesn't turn, and knocks back the off stump. Ashwin is pumped. 242/6

0.3 to V Sehwag, bit of inswing and knocks out middle stump! Absolutely perfect length ball that Sehwag played inside and his middle pole goes flying. What a start for England. Sehwag didn't move his feet and misread the line, got done on the outside edge by an inswinger. Anderson right on the money third ball. 1/1
27.5 to SR Tendulkar, straight delivery, this keeps very low and bowled him! Tendulkar is castled and now Anderson has dismissed him the most times in Test matches - 9. There was a bit of drift into the batsman again and it kept a touch low, Tendulkar was caught on the crease and the delivery slipped past the defensive prod from the crease and into middle stump. He could have got forward and there was nip back into the right-hander. 64/3
31.4 to G Gambhir, sliding across the left-hander again, now driven at, edged and gone and India are suddenly in real trouble, Anderson producing a brilliant performance. After so many shaping in to Gambhir, this had a bit of drift away from him, the length was full enough to try to drive and the hint of movement drew an edge. 71/4
123.6 to RA Jadeja, this shapes in, again caught on the pad and this time given out that nipped back a long way from Anderson and wrapped the knee roll in line with middle and leg, the finger went up pretty quickly. Batsman was caught on the crease. 288/6

140.1 to PP Ojha, he has bowled him. To the shock and horror of England. It's a wicket they don't want. Prior and Monty are not excited even a little bit. Short of a length, turning in, hits the forearm, ricochets into the stumps. The best thing that could have happened for India. 317/9
31107632.451506100
22.3 to CA Pujara, propped via pad and glove to short leg, what a catch! Bell, bacvk under the helmet instead of Root, plunged to his right, like a man desparately attempting to grasp a falling glass or mobile phone, and scooped the ball from above the grass one-handed, immediately throwing it high into the air in celebration. Uh oh, though it turns out the ball smacked into Pujara's forearm, rather than glove - another one for the umpires' series review DVD. 59/2
116.1 to V Kohli, around the wicket, leg stump, caught on the pad and given out first ball after drinks and, after a partnership of 198, England finally strike and my word will they be relieved. I think Kholi had just misread the line, struck in line with leg stump and it looked a very good shout. 269/5
130.1 to PP Chawla, little bit of turn past the outside edge and back goes the off stump and that completes a fine final hour for England with a fourth wicket. It was a length ball, tossed up, Chawla came forward and got beaten on the outside edge and the ball clipped the outside of the off stump, lovely bowling. 297/8

46.4 to NRD Compton, sliding on, hit on the front pad and Tucker raises the finger! Was that ripper earlier in the over still playing through Compton's mind? He pushed forward to a full delivery, playing for more turn than eventually materialised... Oh, and it looks like he got a bit of bat on it before it thudded into pad. Compton stands and grimaces, he has to walk, that's a big blow for India to strike right on the brink of tea. Not sure, as we haven't had another look, but the ball might have been caught as well, though it was given lbw. 81/2

29.5 to AN Cook, makes him play this time, big appeal for caught behind and given out the finger goes up straight away but the immediate replay suggests Cook may be unlucky again. He was drawn forward just outside off stump, there was a little turn that look it away from Cook, there was a sound which drew the appeal, it was a straightforward take for Dhoni and the umpire nodded and raised his finger instantly. In fact the replay suggests that Cook missed it by a long distance, another very poor decision from Dharmasena. 48/1
134.1 to IJL Trott, leg stump, flicked at and it's off the face to leg slip, a wicket! And India finally remove Trott getting him to flirt at a full delivery from around the wicket into the rough outside leg stump and he got a good load of bat on it put straight to Kohli who held a solid chance at chest height with two hands. 302/4

55.5 to KP Pietersen, off stump delivery, Pietersen leaves it and is bowled oh goodness what a blow, Pietersen shouldering arms, the ball has done nothing but go straight on and clip the outside of off stump. An identical dismissal to Trott in the first innings, leaving a delivery too straight that hasn't turned an iota. 94/3
