Zimbabwe Twenty20 Triangular Series - 4th match

Zimbabwe XI v Bangladesh XI

Bangladesh XI won by 6 wickets (with 15 balls remaining)

12:30: Welcome to the fourth match in this tri-series. Zimbabwe are the suprising early leaders having beaten South Africa yesterday. Today, they face Bangladesh again and could go a long way to securing a place in the final with victory here.

Toss: Zimbabwe have won the toss and unsurprisingly, they will bat. On this pitch, which seems to get slower as the day goes on, batting first has been the choice of the captain who calls correctly.

Team news: Zimbabwe are unchanged for this fixture, so still no space for Brian Vitori and Keegan Meth. Big news out of the Bangladesh camp: Tamim Iqbal is back and Jahurul Islam misses out.

Some chit-chat with Graeme Cremer, who took three wickets against South Africa yesterday: We wanted to try and win every game leading up to the final. When we got the runs on the board we though if we get a few quick wickets, we could be in there.

Now a bit of talk with Mohammad Ashraful: It was a little bit hard being out of the team but I knew if I worked hard I would get back in. I want to improve my strike rate in this tournament.

Abdur Razzak to open the bowling against the pair that did so well yesterday.

Elias Sunny to Masakadza, OUT, how did that happen? Masakadza moved his feet and drove that on the on-side, straight to the fielder. Masakadza sets off for the run, Sibanda doesn't have the time to say no and he is found well short of his crease. Silly error from the openers, who did so well yesterday.

One of the Bangladesh fielders is down and receiving some treatment, hence the delay. Looks like its Mushfiqur getting some attention on the right shoulder. Confirmation that it is Mushfiqur, although he is taking some pills now. Mushfiqur is back up and looks in pain but will continue.

Mashrafe Mortaza to Jarvis, FOUR, Jarvis ends the innings with a boundary, driven through the covers and beats the fielder there. Zimbabwe end on 149 for 8, below-par score from them after their good showing against South Africa yesterday.

Zimbabwe started well with Vusi Sibanda and Hamilton Masakadza but lost they did not push on. Masakadza anchored the innings with a third consecutive half-century but the middle-order were exposed and did not deliver as they should have. Don't take anything away from Bangladesh, they bowled superbly at the end and pulled it back nicely. They got five wickets in the last five overs and stemmed the run flow.
