TEAMS
Len Weekly made his debut as a legspinner for South Australia in 1950-51, taking 4 for 61 ob debut in a heavy defeat by Victoria, all four wickets tailenders in the second innings. A fortnight later he took 2 for 123 against New South Wales, and that seemed to be that. But six years later he was recalled for four Sheffield Shield matches. Wicketless in his first, he took 4 for 141 against South Australia in the next game but failed to take a wicket in the following two outings and was dropped.
