Zimbabwe will undertake a short tour of South Africa later this month in preparation for the five-ODI series against Bangladesh which start on July 29. They will play an unnamed South African academy and two provincial sides in a short trip.
Bruce Makovah, Zimbabwe's selectors convener, told the Zimbabwe Independent newspaper that the side would be a blend of players who toured the Caribbean in May and those from the current A-team series.
The paper goes on to say that those in the A team likely to be drafted in include pace bowler Trevor Garwe, former Under-19 wicketkeeper/batsman Tafadzwa Mufambisi, and batsmen Tinashe Hove and Friday Kasteni.
