Habibul Bashar, Bangladesh's captain, will miss the remainder of his side's African tour after being ruled out for four weeks with a fractured thumb. He will miss the final three ODIs in Zimbabwe as well as all three matches in Kenya next month.

Bashar suffered a fracture on his left little finger when he attempted to catch opener Vusi Subanda at slip in the second one-day international against Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club on Sunday.

Khaled Mashud will take over as stand-in captain for the remainder of the tour. Bashar will, however, remain with the team.
