Bangladesh in Zimbabwe ODI Series - 3rd ODI

Zimbabwe v Bangladesh

Zimbabwe won by 69 runs

1.4

Mahbubul Alam to Sibanda, OUT, Wow! what a delivery. Don't blame Sibanda for edging it. It curved away late from a good length and clipped the outer edge as Sibanda pushed at it; he had to play at it. It did just enough to get the edge. There is no use getting dramatic big movement and missing the bat. Perfect delivery.

V Sibanda c †Mushfiqur Rahim b Mahbubul Alam 0 (4m 2b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

Zimbabwe 6/1   MA Vermeulen 5* (8b 1x4)   Mahbubul Alam 0.4-0-4-1

3.6

Mahbubul Alam to Vermeulen, OUT, What a soft dismissal. Vermeulen, who was looking so good, is gone. It was full and slipping to the legs, it could have been on driven anywhere but Vermeulen flicked it straight to short midwicket.

MA Vermeulen c Mahmudullah b Mahbubul Alam 11 (16m 18b 2x4 0x6) SR: 61.11

Zimbabwe 17/2   H Masakadza 4* (4b)   Mahbubul Alam 2-0-12-2

11.2

Enamul Haque jnr to Coventry, 1 run, OUT, What a mess. What terrible misunderstanding between the two. It was flicked past square leg and the fielder (Mehrab) ran in from deep square leg. Clearly they had to stop at a single as they never seemed sure of the second. But they turned for the second run, hesitated mid-way, tried to carry on forward but too late folks. The throw was accurate and Rahim whips off the bails in glee. Gone!

CK Coventry run out 22 (31m 20b 3x4 1x6) SR: 110.00

Zimbabwe 60/3   H Masakadza 23* (28b 2x4)   Enamul Haque jnr 0.2-0-2-0

38.6

Syed Rasel to Masakadza, OUT, Rasel cleans him up with a slower one. His special- the off cutter. Masakadza shaped for the big slog across the line but was beaten by the lack of pace. Fine innings comes to an end. A very good partnership with Taylor.

H Masakadza b Syed Rasel 102 (129m 112b 4x4 2x6) SR: 91.07

Zimbabwe 202/4   BRM Taylor 63* (81b)   Syed Rasel 7-0-32-1

47.2

Shakib Al Hasan to Taylor, 1 run, OUT, Taylor is run out, going for the second run. It was pushed towards long-off and Chigumbura pushed for the second run. Taylor rushed across and even tried to dive into the crease but the throw was accurate and fast and Rahim did the rest. A very fine knock from Taylor comes to an end.

BRM Taylor run out 94 (116m 103b 2x4 1x6) SR: 91.26

Zimbabwe 292/5   E Chigumbura 58* (28b 3x4 5x6)   Shakib Al Hasan 8.2-0-53-0

49.2

Shakib Al Hasan to Matsikenyeri, OUT, And he is gone now. He tries to slog sweep from outside off stump but gets a leading edge and presents a dolly to short third-man fielder. Handy little innings, though.

S Matsikenyeri c Tamim Iqbal b Shakib Al Hasan 23 (8m 9b 0x4 2x6) SR: 255.55

Zimbabwe 319/6   E Chigumbura 61* (31b 3x4 5x6)   Shakib Al Hasan 9.2-0-63-1

49.5

Shakib Al Hasan to Waller, OUT, Shakib gets one more wicket. Another slog sweep attempted, another edge, and it's caught at midwicket

MN Waller c Mehrab Hossain jnr b Shakib Al Hasan 2 (1m 2b 0x4 0x6) SR: 100.00

Zimbabwe 322/7   E Chigumbura 61* (32b 3x4 5x6)   Shakib Al Hasan 9.5-0-65-2
