Peter Reimers represented Queensland Schoolboys Under 15 in a match against QJCA Under 16 team. He represented Queensland Secondary Schools in 2000-01 and 2001-02; Queensland Under 17 in 2000-01; South Queensland Under 19 in 2001-02; Queensland Country in 2001-02, being brought into the team as a replacement for JV Chisholm; South Queensland in 2002-03. In 2002 he was a member of the Regional Queensland Academy of Sport Squad and appeared in the Country v Origin match played at Dalby in September. His commenced his junior cricket with Easts in Toowoomba, now merged with the senior Metropolitans Club, and playing as Metropolitan-Easts, his current club. His other sporting interests include golf, tennis and swimming. Schools: East Toowoomba State; Centenary Heights State High.
