The Australian Cricket Board (ACB) today announced a squad of 17 for the six-game Australian International Under-19 Series against Sri Lanka, beginning on Friday 16 March 2001.
The squad, which will play three one-day internationals followed by three four-day games in both Adelaide and Perth, is:

Three players, Cameron Borgas (South Australia), Shaun Marsh (Western Australia) and Cameron White (Victoria) will join the squad later in the series after Pura Cup commitments with their respective states.
Shaun Marsh will join the Australian squad for the third one-day international at the Adelaide Oval on Tuesday 20 March. Borgas will join the squad for the first of the four-day games beginning on Thursday 22 March at St Peter's College, Adelaide, while Cameron White will make his way to Perth for the last two four-day games.
Queenslander Nathan Hauritz and Victorian Tim Welsford, who both represented Australia at the 2000 Youth World Cup, were appointed co-captains of the Australian team.
