SALEM, Montserrat - Barbadian fast bowler Jason Bennett grabbed a five-wicket haul but Leeward islands still took first innings lead over West Indies "B" on the second day of their fifth round Carib Beer Series match at Olveston Park yesterday.
The Leewards' respose of 233 to the West Indies "B" team's 191, was built on Sylvester Joseph's classy 91.
At stumps West Indies "B" were 125 for three in their second innings.
Batting at No. 3, 24-year-old Joseph fell nine short of what would have been his third first class century after lashing 12 fours and two sixes.
On the other side, Bennett's fast medium bowling earned him five for 51 from 12 overs.

He was taken to hospital, reports are with a heart condition and was admitted for observation.
