Campbell cleared of major injury

Retravision Warriors wicket-keeper batsman Ryan Campbell has strained his left adductor muscle and has been advised to rest for a week.

Retravision Warriors wicket-keeper batsman Ryan Campbell has strained his left adductor muscle and has been advised to rest for a week.
Campbell strained the groin muscle during his whirlwind 87 in WA's first innings on day one (Friday) of their Pura Cup match against NSW at the WACA Ground.
An MRI scan confirmed the strain and Campbell took no further part in the game.
The WA Selectors will meet to pick the squad to travel to Tasmania on Wednesday. The Warriors play Tasmania in an ING Cup match that begins this Sunday. A Pura Cup match begins on Wednesday.
Campbell along with the other injured Warriors Paul Wilson (groin), Michael Clark (quadriceps strain) and Beau Casson (split webbing) will be assessed then as to whether they travel with the team.
WA has a hectic schedule coming up with two ING Cup and two Pura Cup matches during the first two and half weeks of February.
In further news NSW left-arm paceman Nathan Bracken has been cleared of major damage after he left the field with a cut finger during WA's second innings.
During the first hour of play today Bracken put down a catch and immediately left the field with a cut to the inside of his left index finger.
Bracken was taken to hospital where two stiches were inserted. He received an X-Ray that cleared him of structural damage.
Bracken will bat if required in the match and will travel to Queensland with NSW for their Pura Cup match starting on February 1 against the Bulls.
