The dates for the annual one day series between India and Pakistan to be played in Toronto have been announced

The dates for the annual one day series between India and Pakistan to be played in Toronto have been announced. According to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) sources the five match series commences on September 9, The second match would be played on September 10, the third on Sept 13, the fourth on Sept 16 and the final match on Sept 17. The venue of the five matches is the Toronto Cricket, Skating and Curling club.
The series marks the beginning of the international 2000-2001 season for the Indians. India are later scheduled to play in the ICC knock-out event from October 3 to 15 in Nairobi and in Sharjah immediately after that. Later they play Zimbabwe in a Test and one-day series at home.
Last year, due to the Kargil conflict, India did not play Pakistan in the annual event at Toronto. Instead, both India and Pakistan played the West Indies in a three match series. The annual series between India and Pakistan at Toronto started in 1996.
