4.5 to Zeeshan Malik, another big appeal, a prolonged one, ended up a plea almost until the umpire raised the finger. Then came a burst of "yes, yes, yes" from Fernando. Malik was moving across on off stump, but he may feel a touch unlucky for the ball might just have been meandering down leg. Clipping says HawkEye.. 27/1
201708.5072050

43.3 to Hassan Khan, has he picked out long-on? Yep. Came down the track, got under the ball well enough but he does not have enough power behind the shot.. 168/6
45.2 to Shadab Khan, misread the line! The left-arm spinner bowls from so wide of the crease that his front leg wanders outside the return crease. So most of his deliveries just come on with the arm. But Shadab plays for turn, offers a gap between bat and pad and is bowled. 180/7
1013023.00413000
18.1 to Saif Badar, beautiful bowling. It's the one that doesn't really turn, but Badar was playing for it. Comes out the front of the hand, with a flatter trajectory. The batsman lunged forward and across to block, making account for the legspinner, but ends up with the inside edge and his stumps broken. 68/2
40.2 to Salman Fayyaz, the fatal reverse sweep! Batsman misses, bowling hits his back thigh and that would have knocked over off stump. Premeditation goes against Fayyaz, he could have hit that down the ground but instead is in the worst position possible. The ball is too full so he can't get under it quick enough and has to walk back. 157/5
904124.55293010
19.3 to Mohammad Umar, turn, big turn, big wicket! Umar goes on the charge, but he comes up a cropper. Didn't reach the pitch which made him panic and hit across the line towards wide long-on. Silva's tossed up delivery leaps across the flailing bat and through to the gleeful keeper who breaks the stumps in no time at all. Missed a catch earlier, he did. So good work now.. 70/3
47.2 to Sameen Gul, that's ugly on several counts. Guess you'd excuse the tailender for doing that. It's not his primary discipline. Goes for a wild slog sweep off a good length ball on middle. Misses and his off stump has gone for a toss. 206/8
402105.25112000
4.402114.50162000
48.1 to Hasan Mohsin, stands, waits and wonders if that's how he's fallen and the umpires confirm he has been bowled around his legs. Innovation was needed at this stage of the innings, so Mohsin goes for a reverse sweep. Except Sri Lanka's captain has fired in a flatter ball from around the wicket down leg, goes right through him and knocks over leg stump. 211/9

39.6 to PVR de Silva, bouncer close to off stump, and Gul has struck. Rising steeply and Randika takes it on, looking to pull, only manages a top edge that the keeper takes over his head. 164/7
43.6 to JKZ Daniel, gone, eight down! Gul sends down a slower ball, fullish on middle stump, and Daniel flicks early, flicks uppishly, and straight to midwicket. 178/8
502825.60183030
1.4 to WIA Fernando, edged, and that's a disputed low catch at first slip. Angled this in on a good length and got it to shape away in the corridor. Avishka was half-forward to defend, edged it, and Zeeshan Malik claimed a low catch after falling to his left. They've gone up to the third umpire, soft signal is not out. Replays, however, seem to show the fingers to be cleanly under the ball, that is very nicely done by the fielder. 8/1
5.2 to WMK Bandara, gone! That's a superb length outside off, and Bandara pays the price for playing with half a bat. Opens his bat face to steer it to third man, and gets a thin edge through to the keeper. 21/2
20904.5081020
702323.28261000
13.1 to KIC Asalanka, tossed up outside leg, and Asalanka goes! Fine leg is inside the circle, and he goes for the sweep and hits it straight to him, a simple catch at head height. 58/3
36.5 to PWH de Silva, down the track to the flighted ball on off stump, and another batsman holes out. That was well bowled by Shafiq, held it back and bowled it a little wider. He wanted to hit over mid-on, who was in the circle, ended up opening up and skewing it high in the air and straight down to long-off. 157/6
8.403133.57343010
14.3 to S Ashan, googly, it's another short ball, and he's pulled it straight into the lap of square leg! Almost a mirror image of the Asalanka dismissal. It was a long-hop, he could have hit that anywhere, but he picked out the fielder with precision. 63/4
46.2 to SHTN Nimesh, got him! Shadab sees him jumping out of his crease and shortens his length wide of off stump. Nimesh reaches out to jab at it and the ball turns just enough to beat his outside edge. Easy stumping for the keeper. 189/9
46.4 to AM Fernando, and Pakistan have won it! Shadab rips a legbreak from outside off, slightly fuller than the previous one, and that's enough to find the edge to slip. 189/10
903704.11292020
201306.5062000
401714.25111000
34.1 to PHKD Mendis, down the track to the flighted ball wide of off, and that's a soft dismissal. Long-on was back on the rope, he decided to take him on, and ended up lifting it straight into his hands. 147/5
