Sussex extend Keegan's trial

Sussex have extended the trial of Chad Keegan on a non-contract basis.

Keegan was offered a trial in May, but due to poor weather conditions which have affected a lot of the second XI matches since his trial started, the county said he had not had the opportunities to prove himself in match situations.

"We are keen to see how his rehabilitation from his back injury has progressed," Mark Robinson, the country's cricket manager, said. "Chad wants to prove that he can still deliver at a high level and it's only sensible that we give him the opportunity to impress."
