Full and wide, a tempter for Warner to thrash through cover again, he thrashes hard and gets the faintest nick through to the wicketkeeper. That is a wasted start and Warner knows it.. 34/1 122.1 to C Green, chopped on trying to leave! 136kph, good length wide of off, he tried to leave but didn't withdraw the toe of the bat quick enough, it was still in the line of the ball and it ricochets onto middle and off. 42.4 to SPD Smith, Return catch taken by Holder, Smith gone for a duck! It was a length ball that Smith looked to push it with the bat facing mid-off. Either a slower one or it held up in the pitch and Smith was squared up and too early on it. It popped up knee-height and Holder did well to get down and take it. Ball tracking has it clipping the outside of leg! Umpire's call! It remains out! Khawaja is out. He throws his head back. He can't believe it. Thomas gets his first Test wicket.. 129/2 110.1 to M Labuschagne, Caught behind again, Marnus leaves for 163. Standing ovation, Marnus twirls to acknowledge every direction as he leaves. It was similar to the first-innings dismissal from the last game. To a pacer this time, it was around a length, slightly wide. Labuschagne looked to drive it fine. The deflection took the ball low and to the right of Carey who took it with a dive. Starc raises his finger as if in regulation. Eight balls in, it feels like it's all in a day's work for him.. 102/6 69.3 to RL Chase, taken this time, at deep fine leg! Starc banged it in short with two fielders in the deep, Chase went after it with a swivel and skied it behind square, where Lyon came in from the deep and got his hands under it just in time with a forward dive. 214/10 | ||||||||||

13.4 to KC Brathwaite, caught behind! Beautiful delivery. 135kph, angled into off, perfect length, wobbling seam, it hits the rope, nips away, scratches the outside edge and an easy catch for Carey. Not much Brathwaite could do other than hope to miss that as he tried to defend. Maybe could have got further forward but that's not his modus operandi, and that's been unfairly critical. 35/1 19.2 to SSJ Brooks, another scratch behind! Neser putting on a clinic. Another wobble seam delivery, asking Brooks to defend on the front foot on a fourth stump line, he was drawn to play, it nipped away, a tiny scratch of the outside edge floats through to Carey. 22.1 to J Blackwood, Lyon leaps to the left, has he taken it? Yes! The caught and bowled ballooned despite not going up high, Lyon balanced to stand straight after delivering but had enough time to go across to the side with a slight jump and took it low. It was a full, tossed-up ball. Blackwood wanted to drive hard but was not decisive enough to go in the air. In the end, it hit the bat higher than he would have wanted at a catchable pace and height.. 50/3 52.2 to J Da Silva, Lyon is down on one knee and asking the question, for lbw! The umpire doesn't give it, Australia got for the review. Sharp turn on this ball which pushed the batter on the back foot who was struck on the back thigh pad as it went past the inside edge after turning in a mile from outside off. It's hitting and Dharmasena's decision is overturned. The applause picks up from the Adelaide crowd as Lyon pumps both his fists after breaking this fifty stand. 162/7 56.5 to AS Joseph, that one's much closer, it's a louder appeal and this time Dharmasena's finger goes up quickly. Joseph consults Chase and reviews. Joseph went on the back foot as the ball came in sharply, and he was late to bring his bat down, struck just above the knee roll on the back foot right in front of middle. Height is the question and it's hitting the right bail, so Australia get their ninth and Lyon gets a gentle tap on his uncovered head from Boland. 26.1 to SPD Smith, Joseph had dropped Smith and now he takes the wicket, a relief for him! This one hung in the air for much longer as Smith skied it a few miles in the air behind square on the leg side, Devon Thomas at fine leg had his eyes glued to the ball throughout. He started pedalling backwards, closing in on the boundary and did well to hold on to it in the end. 156/4 26.6 to C Green, leading edge, Green has started walking even before the catch is taken, and Brathwaite takes it at short cover. Short-ish from Joseph, Grene pulled with hard hands, got a leading edge high on the off side and Brathwaite took a few steps in from cover to get under it. 162/5 30.6 to AT Carey, 143.2kmh bowled him, he's lost his middle and leg stump. Warner looked to slash it square but got an underedge onto the stumps. Very subdued celebrations from West Indies. 77/1 14.3 to UT Khawaja, Two in the over as Chase nicks off Khawaja with extra bounce and away spin. It came from a high trajectory, landed around a length outside off. Spun away, Khawaja had taken a stride across. Leant in to drive but saw it jag and seemed to pull his bat back last second but it was too late. Ball had taken the edge. Good catch by Da Silva. 8.3 to T Chanderpaul, Caught-behind appeal is turned down. It's reviewed by Australia. The ball was full and straying down leg, Chanderpaul tried to play the flick but looked to have missed it. But was there a tickle? Hotspot confirms there was a teeny nick and the decision is overturned. Starc was a bit apprehensive before the review but is chuffed now. Chanderpaul's promising series ends with two unfortunate dismissals in a day. This one had the tiniest feather low and on the inside-half. Travis Head was convinced from the deep, he ran in and persuaded the skipper to go for it. In the end, it worked.. 21/4 24.6 to DC Thomas, caught behind! Angle does it! 144kph, fuller length and wider, angled across, tempting the drive after he'd been leaving back of a length, he flashed at it and got a thin edge through to Carey. Easy catch. First one down on the fourth morning.. 42/5 28.1 to JO Holder, bowled him with a cracker! Off stump cartwheeling! 142kph, perfect length, pitching on off with the seam up and hooping back through the gate to smash into the top of off and send it clattering to the ground. Holder left holding a defensive pose with his stumps ruined. Wow. That is as good a delivery from a left-arm quick as you will see.. 49/6 | ||||||||||

38.1 to RL Chase, The keeper clings on to take a sharp-as-knives catch. Ball was on a length at the stumps. Chase looked to turn it and his back foot dragged out of the crease after the ball took a thinnish outside edge. The deflection did take it away. It hit Carey on the right shoulder and kind of slid as it descended up but not at a high pace. Carey was leaning on the left leg as he took it. He's absolutely thrilled and swarmed by team-mates, all in delight.. 69/7 38.6 to J Da Silva, Another caught behind! Carey is on fire!. In-between length in the channel. Da Silva is pinned in the crease because of Carey being up as he tries to defend it towards cover. Got a nick, Carey took it and, like the bowler, was chuffed. Took it just over the pads. He was rising up from a squat position and made it look like a regulation catch. 76/8 40.5 to MJ Mindley, Another ripper from Carey to seal Australia's *gasps* 419-run win! Carey is thrilled, fielders are all smiles as they come in to hug him. It was a length ball just outside off. Mindley opened the face fully and got a thin outside edge. 5.1 to KC Brathwaite, Boland's superman avatar returns as he nicks off Kraigg Brathwaite! It's the occupational hazard of the opening batter - a jaffa on a length that deviated away just a bit. Squared up the batter well in the crease, he hopped a bit as he tried to block it straight. The bat was coming down and the ball shaved the outside half of the bat. Nicked much to the delight of Australia.. 15/1 5.3 to SSJ Brooks, Jags in and pins Brooks in front! 2 for 0, this is the Boland we know! Pitched on a length around fifth, stayed low and snaked past the inside edge of the fullish-faced bat. Hit the pad under the knee-roll. Three reds on ball tracking. Boland was semi-celebrappealing. The slips went right up too.. 15/2 5.6 to J Blackwood, Three in the over for Boland as Green takes a stunner at gully! Green is swarmed by his team-mates after he essentially dove low into the air, picked the ball up low and picked up Usman Khawaja who ran in. Absolute joy in the Australian camp. Blackwood was squared up by the length ball on leg. Tried to nudge it through mid-on or midwicket, was indecisive due to the moving ball. Got a leading edge that went low.
