Iain Keith Dixon was born in Victoria, B.C in 1971, where he was raised. He is a right handed opening batsman. Iain played his early cricket with Albion C.C. in the VDCA before moving on to play in the BCMCL in the early 1990's. A member of the Canadian Under 19 team which toured England in 1989, Iain debuted for British Columbia in 1990 and has been a provincial representative since then. Iain has also played in the Kent League with Tunbridge Wells, the Scottish National League with Uddingston C.C. and with Petersham-Marrickville D.C.C. in the Sydney Grade competition. In 1998 he was selected for Scottish Universities while on exchange. Iain currently plays with Meraloma C.C. in the BCMCL where he opens the batting and bowls right arm medium pace. Iain is a lawyer with the City of Vancouver law department.
