Playing Role

A natural athlete, Kristine only took up playing cricket in April 2006. A meteoric elevation has followed with her selection for the Hong Kong national squad in 2007, and Wong made her debut against China on 24th June 2007 in Shenzhen. A handy medium-quick bowler with the ability to swing the ball, Kristine plays her club cricket for Kowloon CC Maidens and earned the 2006-7 HKCA Most Improved Women's Player of the Year award. Although still very much learning the game, with her ability and continuing application to improving her game, Kristine has the potential to be a regular in the Hong Kong national team for many years to come.
