Zimbabwe v Pakistan, 2015-16

Wisden's review of the third ODI, Zimbabwe v Pakistan, 2015-16

15-Apr-2016
Third one-day international At Harare, October 5, 2015. Pakistan won by seven wickets. Zimbabwe 161 (38.5 overs) (C. J. Chibhabha 48, R. Mutumbami 67; Imad Wasim 3-36, Bilal Asif 5-25); ‡Pakistan 162-3 (34 overs) (Ahmed Shehzad 32, Bilal Asif 38, Asad Shafiq 38*, Shoaib Malik 34*). MoM: Bilal Asif. MoS: Shoaib Malik.
As so often with Zimbabwe, a step forward was followed by two steps back: from 89-0 in the 21st over, they lost all ten for 72, with only No. 9 Jongwe (16*) reaching double figures after the openers. Off-spinner Bilal Asif was the architect of the destruction, with five wickets in his second ODI, but his bowling action was reported after the match. Bilal then showed he could bat too, making a breezy 38 as Pakistan claimed the series.
