4- Higher individual scores while chasing in T20Is than Glenn Maxwell's unbeaten 113 in Bengaluru. The highest is Evin Lewis' 125 not out, which was also against India, in Kingston in 2017. There has been only one other century in chases in T20Is in India: Chris Gayle against England at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai during the 2016 World T20.
2- Centuries for Maxwell while chasing in T20Is. No other Australia batsman has scored even one in a chase. Maxwell has four of the top eight scores by Australia batsmen in chases. KL Rahul is the only other batsman to have scored two hundreds while chasing in T20Is. Maxwell is tied second on most centuries in T20Is with three tons, with Colin Munro. Only Rohit Sharma has four centuries.
3- Instances of India losing every match in a bilateral T20I series of two or more matches. The other two defeats were: against New Zealand in 2008-09 and South Africa in 2015-16. This is the third consecutive series that India have not managed to win. Before these three, India had won six successive bilateral series.
169- Runs by Maxwell in this series - the most by a batsman in a bilateral series against India. The previous highest was Shane Watson's 151 in a three-match series in 2015-16. Maxwell scored 56 in the first game of this series.
2- Bigger targets successfully chased down against India than the 191 by Australia in this match. South Africa won chasing 200 in Dharamsala in 2015, which is the biggest. This is Australia's fourth-highest successful chase.
1050- Runs for Maxwell in the second innings in T20Is, behind only Virat Kohli's tally of 1231. Maxwell averages 37.50 when chasing against 29 when batting first. He has two hundreds and six fifties while chasing but only one 50-plus score in 18 innings when batting first.
