The Titans franchise has opted not to renew the contract of their coach Dave Nosworthy for the 2005-06 season, and have yet to name a new captain, following the retirement of Daryll Cullinan.
Nosworthy's contract included a clause that allowed it to be extended by one year, if a decision was made by March 31. However, when the Board of Director's met at Centurion Park, on Tuesday, they decided against this option and will discuss the issue again ahead of next season.
The Titans reached the final of the Standard Bank one-day tournament, where they lost to the Eagles, but could only managed fourth place in the SuperSport Series - notching only two wins from 10 matches.
Cullinan announced his retirement after hitting a century in his final SuperSport Series match against Western Province Boland, and will now concentrate on his media career and coaching in Johannesburg.
