Scorecard
Namibia seamer Christi Viljoen picked four quick wickets towards the end of day to leave the ICC Intercontinental Cup match against Netherlands in Windhoek hanging in the balance. Netherlands were 2 for 197 at one stage, but lost seven wickets for 83 runs ending the day four runs ahead of Namibia with only a wicket in hand.
Netherlands were put into a strong position by a century stand for the second wicket between Tom Cooper and Michael Rippon, with both scoring half-centuries. But they started faltering after Loius Klazinga struck twice in two overs. Viljoen then made regular inroads as the Netherlands middle order faltered. At 9 for 262, they were in danger of conceding a lead, but their last batting pair saw through till the end of day.
Earlier, Namibia lost their three remaining batsmen within 11 overs in the morning and added only 12 runs to their overnight score. Timm van der Gugten returned with his best ever first-class of figures of 7 for 68.
