Aslam struck 12 fours and four sixes during his 129, and put up vital stands of 58 and 87 for the third and fourth wickets with Hasan Raza and Hussain Talat respectively, which helped power the visitors to 261 for 8 from their 50 overs. Pankaj Prakash was the pick of UAE's bowlers, finishing with 3 for 31.
Shivank Vijayakumar and Shorye Chopra were dismissed in the second over of the hosts' chase, to leave the team tottering at 3 for 2. Dan D'Souza led the recovery by scoring 56 - a knock that included four fours and a six - and adding 59 for the fourth wicket with Jay Joshi, but the team failed to muster any other significant partnerships and were bowled out for 188, with Mohammad Aftab and Kamran Ghulam picking up three scalps apiece.
