Lyons named in Scotland ODI squad

Scotland have recalled Ross Lyons, the slow-left-arm spinner, for their two ODIs against Kenya this week.

Lyons took match figures of 7 for 42 in Scotland's thumping win over Canada three weeks ago and another six in their victory against Bermuda. Scotland are also boosted by the return of the injured pair, Craig Wright and Calum MacLeod, while Majid Haq misses out.

"Ross has earned his shot after doing so well when we were away and it's good to have the option of him spinning the ball away," said coach Pete Steindl. "We thought it was a good idea to take an extra seamer which is why Calum and Craig both come in, and Majid misses out."
