With the fall of the final wicket Hong Kong complete a comprehensive win which was never really in doubt after they had Ireland 26 for 4 at the end of the powerplay. Yet again Ireland's top order failed to get involved in any meaningful way. By the time that Kevin O'Brien and Greg Thompson came together their 59 run partnership could do little at chase down the runrate. Once they went it was only a matter of time till Hong Kong finished off the inexperienced tail.
All of the Hong Kong bowlers took wickets apart from Nawaz and at the end of the day they deserved the win. Today's win means that they go 1-0 up in the two match series. We don't have long to wait until the final match of the series. Less then 24 hours to be exact. Tomorrow we all come back to Bready for the final game in the series. So please join us then.
Thanks for following my commentary today and its goodnight from me, bye.
