6.15pm New Zealand secure their first Test series win over Pakistan since 1985. It was fun. Thanks for tuning in. Hope you enjoyed our coverage as much as we did bringing to you. I'll leave you with Karthik Krishnaswamy's report, which will tell you everything about the dramatic collapse. Cheers.

Tim Southee, Man of the Match: It was a good bowling performance. We tried to hang in there and chip as many as possible with the second new ball. I think it was just a good all-round performance. We were familiar with the conditions, and there was assistance with the new ball. Taking a 50-run [55-run] lead into the second innings was vital.

Azhar Ali: We knew the target was a big one. We had a[good opening] partnership, but we couldn't last the last few overs. We wanted to win the game, but we did not want to end this way. When you're 1-0 down, you will have to force the game. We lost quick wickets against the new ball. The conditions were not as difficult as it looks. I know there was grass on the first morning, but after that it was a good batting pitch. We will take a lot out of this tour. And we will have to lift our game in Australia. I enjoyed captaincy, but things did not go according to the plan.

Kane Williamson: If we go back to the start of the Test, getting to 270 [271], after losing the toss, was important. A lot of credit needs to go to Pakistan for the way they batted. Up until the last session, they were in for the win. They batted for a long period of time, and they looked comfortable. When the run-rate goes up, the pressure rises, though. The credit goes to the bowlers for being nice and patient. The way Latham played and set up the first innings was excellent. To see Ross at his best was awesome to see. We were under pressure, and Pakistan showed why they were the No.2 side in Tests. Looking forward to white-ball cricket against Australia. There is a lot cricket coming up. We certainly enjoyed the win tonight.

5.55pm Phew, what a dramatic meltdown from Pakistan. They lost nine wickets in a you-blink-you-miss collapse in the last session. From 159 for 1, they crashed to 230 all-out. The last six wickets fell for 26 runs, against the second new ball, in 11 overs, Wagner wrapping it up in the last hour.

The visitors started the last session at 158 for 1, chasing an improbable victory in their 369 chase. Then after drinks they re-calibrated their ambitions towards a draw, and ultimately lost with 8.5 overs to spare in the final hour. Pakistan drop from No.2 to No.4 in the ICC rankings. This is also their first series defeat in Tests since August 2014. Southee and Wagner, employing varying methods, though, stood out with the second new ball.

Huzaifa Azam: "This is the first test played by Imran Khan, which has not resulted in a win for Pakistan!"

Kashif: "Rizwan will have to answer few questions in the dressing room. He needlessly exposed the tail where he could have taken most the strike in last half hour."

Sajid Ali Shah: "8 wickets for 49 runs , this is Pakistan cricket for you!!"

W
Wagner to Md Imran Khan, OUT

Wagner rips out the tail quickly. Excellent catch from Latham to his right, behind the body. NZ sweep the series 2-0. The celebrations begin in the NZ camp. It's all over for Pakistan. Wagner seals the deal with the short ball. Banged in on middle, Imran takes his eyes off the ball and fends it in the air. Latham snaps up a superb reflex catch, under the helmet at forward short leg. Debutant Rizwan is stranded. In hindsight, he shouldn't have taken the single at the start of the 91st over and exposed the tail to Wagner

Sohail spoons a simple catch to extra cover. Pakistan seven down and are staring at a defeat. Full and outside off, does not come onto the batsman. Sohail drives loosely, plays early, does not bother to keep it down. Picks out Nicholls to perfection. Like target practice. Still 11.1 overs remaining
