Bangladesh win by 108 runs, the series is shared 1-1, and this is the most famous day in their history. They have been a Test nation since 2000 and this is their eighth victory overall, but none come as close to this for the size of scalp. The players are back out in the middle and burst into further celebrations. Fully deserved. What character after coming so close in Chittagong just a week ago. They have taken all ten wickets in the session. Remember, England were 100 for 0 at tea. Then Ben Duckett fell first ball of the final session and, well, the rest is history.

Venkat: "One brings two .. but here one brought all ten" I'll bring you the presentation and reaction shortly. Just need to take stock!

ian: "This is just the beginning. With a bunch of world class players like Shakib, Monimul, Mushifiqur, Tamin Iqbal and now Mehedi, Bangladesh finally have the foundation for a competitve team. This will not be there last win."

WrongTeam: "That was a blinder of a collapse from England, much better than Bangladesh" Do they win the collapse trophy, then?

Tahsin: "I would like take this moment to give a huge thanks to England for coming to Bangladesh and make this series happen. My hats goes off to English players!"

Joel: "This is some sort of a performance from Bangladesh considering their time away from the longest format in recent times. Have been very impressed with Mehedi and Shakib finally appears to have genuine support in the bowling department. Exciting times for Bangladesh and surely a more frequent Test cricket schedule follows." You have to hope so. This, and their development over the last two years, is a good building block

Mafaz Mohideen: "I think credit has to go to the coach, Hathurisinghe, who has turned a bunch of school boys into a team of professionals who can compete in the highest arena of cricket."

Time for the presentations...Alastair Cook. "270 would have been a helluva chase...probably, today, we showed our inexperience in these conditions. When the ball got rolling we couldn't stop it. If I'm honest they shouldn't have been chasing 270, we had four/five chances. We've got to learn fast, there's a lot of talent, the experience will help us if we can take things out of it. We had our chances here. Yesterday evening we didn't bowled great and often lost too many wickets early. You can chat all you want it's about performing. I'm really glad I've been able to lead an England side here, so many people came out to support us. People need to come here and play cricket. You can see their development. At home they will be a tough side to beat. They have a lot of good spinners. It's not easy for me to say, but it's a good win for Bangladesh cricket. Maybe some things are bigger than one game."

Mushfiqur Rahim "It's a great moment for Bangladesh cricket. It was up and down and never knew which team would win. The coach was a bit fired up at tea, we didn't bowl too well. Then they tried to bowl in good areas and did really well. The bowlers did a great job. We didn't think Mehedi will shine like this. He's a good batsman as well and hopefully will be a great allrounder for Bangladesh. In the last two years we've played well at home, but our next challenge is overseas. We have to adapt really well. You can't get home conditions everywhere. We are getting there, hopefully if we play more Tests there will be more good results. Hopefully ICC and other boards will send us series against the big boys. I also want to say thanks to the ECB for coming and the security teams."

Mehedi Hasan is Man of the Match (and Series, I think). "I'm really happy, it's an exciting moment for me. Thanks to all my team-mates and all their support. The senior players helped me when I was nervous."

Both captains will now be presented with the series trophy. But it's all about Bangladesh today. Congratulations to them. It's been an extraordinary day. We'll have loads more reaction and analysis during the evening and tomorrow. Alan's report will be updated here soon. For now, though, from Gnasher, Miller and Alan it's goodbye and thanks for joining us for what has been eight bonkers days of Test cricket. See you all soon.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz to Finn, OUT

it's all over! Finn flicks across the line, gets taken on the back leg and Dharmasena raises the finger for one last time in this series. He was going to ask for a review, but England have none left. Mehedi finishes with 12 in the match, what a performance

Shakib to Ansari, OUT

three in four balls! Amazing scenes in Dhaka! Ansari flicks the ball off his pads and it's grabbed by short leg, one of three men catching on the leg side. Actually, it's even more amazing. It's a bobble from Mominul at short leg which is grabbed on the rebound by Imrul who is next to him

Shakib to Rashid, OUT

first ball! With a ripper. This is quite full, Rashid is playing back, gets completely squared. Hits the back leg. But he reviews. Has it pitched in line with leg stump? That's the only question. Waiting for the graphics. Pitches in line. All over!

Shakib to Stokes, OUT

done it! Shakib gets past Stokes outside edge with a straight delivery into off stump. Stokes goes down on his knees and Shakib brings out the salute celebration! Stokes just seemed to play down the wrong line. Straighter deliveries on this surface, offering so much, are dangerous
