Good morning from Pembroke for the final day of the first T20 inter-provincial Festival. Unfortunately we have just had a downpour so the toss for the first match, between Munster Reds and North West Warriors has been delayed. The rain, though has virtually stopped and the mopping up is under way.
Well that didn't take long. Umpires called captains to the middle and have told them there is no chance of play in the next three hours so the first game of the day has been abandoned. Water lying on the square - and on top of last night's heavy persistent rain, the square could not cope. We wait and hope there is no more rain ahead of the second game - the big one between Leinster Lightning and Northern Knights, which is due to start at 4pm.
