6.23pm And that brings our coverage to an end. Hope you've enjoyed the game. There's the dead rubber game coming up day after, between Ireland and Bangladesh, and after that the final. Be sure to keep joining us, and keep sending in your comments. Until next time, goodbye!

Mashrafe Mortaza: "The way we're playing, I think we bowled really well. Didn't start well, but luckily we got the breakthrough. In the middle part Mustafizur bowled well, and Shakib and Miraz too. Getting to the final was the most important thing. The boys are a bit relaxed, but two matches left, and we'll go hard, and see how it goes in the final."

Jason Holder: "Still not 100% in the field. We've definitely let ourselves down with our fielding right through the tournament. We just want to improve every time we step onto the field. We were a few runs short. I'm not one to look at the end result, we need to look at the processes and tighten up in all three departments."

Mustafizur Rahman is the Player of the Match. No interview with him.

SrizanG: "@DWolfman that is a bit too harsh to say for Pollard, his experience is the most valuable asset beside fielding. Although, I agree picking him up solely on his IPL performance might not be a wise decision to make."

AnamBMDF : "Love the way BD have defeated WI today: bowling department led by Mashrafe, the captain, with crucial wickets supported by Mustafiz and spinners and during batting, it's a total team effort (all contribute significantly). If this is translated in WC, who knows what upsets are coming then? Good rehearsal for BD to face WI in the final of tri-nations trophy."

Sanyat11: "This is exactly what it should be for Bangladesh. With the dependable five and the youngsters showing no fear... Bangladesh are going with fifteen Bengal Tigers for sure. "

6.10pm Bangladesh have wrapped it up with 15 balls to spare, and they've confirmed their place in the final. A thoroughly professional chase from them, notwithstanding a couple of dismissals to uncalled-for shots. Each of their top six got to at least 20, and two of them got past the half-century mark. That's pretty much what you need when you're chasing 248. Not much of a wicket threat from any of the West Indies bowlers barring Ashley Nurse, who dismissed each of the three left-handers at the top of the order. Sheldon Cottrell seemed to get into a bit of rhythm by the end of the innings, which was a bit of a positive, but the two allrounders, Raymon Reifer and Fabian Allen, didn't have very good games at all.

bouncer down the leg side, and Sabbir ducks even though he's well away from the firing line. It's called wide, and that completes Bangladesh's win

Sabbir is on strike finally, with just one run needed.

DWolfman: "Pollard has never been able to translate his T20 form into consistently credible 50 over performances. I would not pick him based on his IPL performances, in which he is free to supplement performances of class players rather than carry a more ordinary bunch. Besides the fielding, there is little else he can be expected to contribute."

Sabbir Rahman comes in at No. 7.

Roach to Mushfiqur, OUT

oh no, that wasn't really necessary. Roach bowls this on a length, angling into the stumps, and Mushfiqur goes for the big lap-scoop. Middles it well enough, but he ends up picking out the man on the fine leg boundary

45.3
Cottrell to Mahmudullah, no run

excellent short ball, angling across Mahmudullah's body without getting too far away from him, and bouncing awkwardly, causing him to jump. Appeal for caught behind as Mahmudullah tries to get his gloves away from the line - I think he's managed it just in time, and so does the umpire

45.2
Cottrell to Mahmudullah, no run

length ball close to off stump, hangs back and dabs to backward point with an open face

Sunny : "You give Bangladesh a score below 260, they will easily overcome that since they are used to that score in Mirpur. To challenge Bangladeshi batsmen, a score of 320 is a must."
