At the half way stage Ireland would have felt that their score was competitive, at least until Cross started hitting them everywhere!

There is no man of the match today although it surely would have been Cross for his fantastic 60 off 33 balls.

If it hadnt been for Kane's fantastic first over then it would have been over alot sooner.

So Scotland take a 1-0 lead in the series. The great news is that we will not have to wait too long for the next game, its tomorrow! So that just leaves me to thank you for following my commentary today

I hope that you will join me at 5.30pm tomorrow until then this is Justin Smyth saying goodbye and goodnight!
