Thats all from here. Thanks for your company and your comments. Good night

Azhar Ali says, You cant control the toss. But I think the team had to fight. Whatever you do first, you have to do perfectly. Wicket in the first over was very good, they had a very good partnership. We thought the pitch was very good, had to hang on and our discussion was bout doing things right and when the next wicket comes, we will put the pressure on. Credit to the bowlers for keeping the pressure up. We are working very hard at fielding practice. Youngsters are a great help. They dive around everywhere. Everytime they go out, they want a run out and catches. I thought it was an opportunity to put the bowler under pressure. But it didnt pay off. Next time I will do it better. Every game is very important for us, specially with the Champions Trophy qualification. We want to win the final game as well. This series win is the Eid gift from Pakistan to the people

Ahmed Shehzad is Man of the Match. I was hitting the ball well in the first three games as well. Today I just tried to follow the gameplan. Was dropped from the last series, I have been working hard with the coaching staff. Waqar, Mushtaq and Flower. They all wanted me to do well as well. Its a complete team effort, in the field as well. We are trying to change the way we used to play and credit to the thinktank. Sometimes they go hard at us, but it is for our betterment. We want to do well going forward. We all know Azhar is in the form of his life at the moment. He gives us confidence. We are just trying not to be selfish. At the end of the day, you just thank God for the runs you score [Getting out in nineties]

Angelo Mathews says, Total wasnt enough after the start we got. Kept losing wickets. it was a fighting score, but not enough. Guyes just wanted to go out there and play shots. In the overs 31 to 40 you have to get it going. After the 40th over, with the extra fielder out, hitting out isnt easy. No real penetration in our bowling attack. Hopefully we can rectify it. Bowled Malinga through because he was doing well, and was swinging it. Created a couple of chances which we didnt take. We need to play positive cricket and get out of hits hole we have dug ourselves in

Pakistan at 90.4 rating points are two points clear of West Indies at present who have 88.4 points. Still need to wait till the tri-series in Zimbabwe to know who goes through to the Champions Trophy.

10.00 pm Now thats what you call an absolute drubbing. Ahmed Shehzad and Azhar Ali set the tone early, without having to do anything other than the ordinary. Their opening stand has been the most productive in this year, and upon that platform the visitors have simply cantered through. Tight contest in the Test series, yes. But Pakistan have outclassed Sri Lanka in the ODIs. Could have been the cherry on top had Shehzhad reached his century, but he did play a very important innings. Got past those early overs, and stuck in there. Usually when he does that, he will have a good score to show for himself - 95 off 90 balls

Shiva, our stats man, pulls out one of those obscure beauties that typify the Sri Lanka bowlers troubles: The 200 runs conceded by Pathirana in his first-three ODIs are the second highest by any bowler in his first-three matches. Manjula Guruge of UAE conceded 201.

Shafay: "Score line: Pak 3 - Kushal 1" --- Sidharth Monga feels the same in his report today

Aqsa: "Now what about the qualification for the champions trophy for pakistan? " --- Might possibly need to wait until that tri-series with Zimbabwe and Pakistan

Vimukthi Adithy: "I guess only 1 player from Pathirana and Siriwardena could stay in the team SL need genuine batsmen and genuine bowlers, not someone who can bat a bit and bowl a bit. Milinda is a batting all rounder, Pathirina is Bowling all rounder"

dropped by short midwicket. Kusal was the man there, who fails to convert the opportunity. Malik was down the track again, but the bowler has pushed it outside off and pulled his length back. That meant the batsman had to drag it and he mistimes it

Saeed Jan: "I'm quite impressed with these two left arm spinners. They both looking good, and the near future they will pay off the trust the SL selectors have put in them. Both can bat and bowl. A very good move. The fans, the experts & the commentators need to be a little bit patient. "

how did that miss the off stump! Nowhere near short enough to pull, but Malik goes for it. The ball ducks under the bat, sneaks through the keepers legs as well. That was phenomenally lucky
