Read Karthik's report and watch out for Isam's insights. Do come back and join us for the third and final ODI. Goodbye and g'night for now.

Tamim Iqbal, Man of the Match: I was not in the best of form before the series. But all came good. I am very happy now. I was under pressure in the first game. I just enjoyed myself and played my shots today.

Mashrafe Mortaza, Bangladesh captain: The boys are very happy. The job is not done yet, we have one more game to go. Shakib did well in the first match. This match was almost a perfect one. Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur Rahim have been brilliant.

Azhar Ali, Pakistan captain: I think we did not bat well in the first half. 240 was not good enough. Saad Nasim and Wahab Riaz helped us comeback, but it was not enough. We are rebuilding. We will learn from this. The boys will bounce back. We have been struck by injuries and a few seniors have retired. We have to trust the youngsters. They will definitely come good.

9:55pm: The players exchange pleasantries. Tamim raises his bat as he walks back. Chandika Hathurusingha greets Tamim and pats him.

He led Bangladesh's batting again, completing back-to-back centuries. Tamim began the chase with a flurry of boundaries and stayed there till the end to guide Bangladesh to a famous win. Mushfiq missed a century this time, but his breezy 65 injected impetus to the chase when Tamim slowed down briefly in the middle overs. The Pakistan bowlers erred in line and length and lacked penetration. The visitors' only respite came when a floodlight tower failed in the 30th over, causing a 15-minute delay.

Shakib said that Bangladesh were favourites heading into the series and they have backed up the claim and how!

ASM Jahangir: "It's a proud moment for Bangladesh cricket. And that also in style by winning two games in a row. What a performance!!! Congrats to Bangladesh team, especially to Tamim and Mushfiq."

TTA: "Pakistan cricket is at its lowest with their most inexperienced team in years, whereas Bangladesh is in great form and with established players like Shakib, Tamim, Mushfiq and Mashrafee as the pillars of the team BD has their best team ever. The result really tells the story

SamRoy: "16 year wait for 2nd win, 2 day wait for 3rd..."

The second grab does it for Alam. Good length slowy ball angling away outside off at 119.2ks, he slices it to Fawad at point, who messes it up on the first attempt. But recovers and pouches it on the second. Mushfiq raises his bat and acknowledges the applause as he walks back. He was undone by the change of pace
