9.30pm Thank you all for tuning in, once again. That's all from me and Sanjay for this game. Good night, all.

9.20pm Presentation time. While the sponsors are thanked and the dignitaries introduced, I will take the opportunity to thank all of you for following the ball-by-ball coverage and sending in all your comments.

Ambati Rayudu wins a bunch of awards, including man of the match. "It's special, and it's been a long wait," he says. "I think, more than anything, the confidence given to me by the coach, Virat and Dhoni bhai. All the team management telling me, hang in there, hang in there. I was not actually looking to get a hundred as such, just trying to stay not out and see the team through and in the process I got to the hundred. I think it's left to the captain [keeping the No. 3 position], so I'll stand by whatever decision he takes."

Virat Kohli: "It's just giving the guys a bit of belief and confidence from my end, Duncan and the management as well, to go out there and perform, and the guys have responded beautifully so far. Actually, a blessing in disguise to lose the toss, quite a bit of dew later on. Rayudu was in the India A team 12 years back, and it's all about giving him the opportunity that he deserved, and he made full use of that. We are treating every game as the last game of the series. That's the kind of culture we're building in this team."

Angelo Mathews: "The 300 mark, makes a lot of difference. We lost our way in the middle and couldn't pull through. These wickets are quite good for the batsmen and you need to score runs in the top four as well. We'll try to make it up in the next game, but it was an embarrassing performance. We need to try and get wickets because it's never easy, with their batting line-up, to contain. We've got to pull out our best to try and see if we can beat the Indians."

Swarooph: "Honestly, stating the obvious, we can't read into anything about any Ind-SL series especially for the home team. Home teams have always been 'extra' dominant in the sub continent. Extrapolating India's form at home to Australia is like saying, Usain Bolt can win a marathon."

DanielAlexander: "Got to feel for Mathews and Sangakkara, both doing the scoring almost every match, need other batsmen to step up"

Alex: "Well isn't India also missing their first choice pacers and dhoni? So i guess we can read into India's performance and decide that they have thrashed Sri Lanka." Agree, but I'd argue that Malinga, Kulasekara and Herath would have raised the standard of Sri Lanka's attack by a big margin.

Don: "@karthik - Although i agree nobody should read too much into the performance by India in this series and SL are missing their front line bowlers but so are India, who're missing both Bhuvi and Shami with Dhoni being rested and Rohit looking to comeback from his injury. Now the test will be to see if India can carry this form into Australia."

9.10pm Rayudu ends on an unbeaten 121. Dhawan made a sparkling 79, and Kohli a breezy 49. The Sri Lankan seamers began very well, but as soon as India had negotiated the early movement, it was all one-way traffic. Sri Lanka's second-string attack wasn't quite good enough to defend 274 on this pitch.

turns down the leg side and he tucks it off his hips towards short fine leg. Jadeja is slightly late off the blocks but takes the single fairly comfortably

Prasanna to Raina, OUT

gone! That was an ambitious, slightly casual shot, trying to sweep a very full ball from the stumps. Hit his front pad almost on the half-volley, in front of middle and off, and the umpire has a bit of a think before raising his finger

down the track again, and this time he isn't as close to the pitch of the ball as the previous one. That's not a bad thing at all, since Raina has even more room to swing his arms and find even more elevation, smashes that over the sightscreen

Randiv to Raina, FOUR runs

down the track again, and bang, that's launched cleanly over mid-off

Sriram: "Any one remember Ind beat SL 5-0 something before 07 WC, Tom Moody then SL Coach said, "Ind play well at home but we play better overseas" and SL walked that talk in Windies. What are the chances of that repeating in '15 WC?" Long way to go for the World Cup, but yeah, I don't think we can read too much into India's performance in this series. Particularly considering Sri Lanka are missing a lot of their first-choice bowlers
