Rasmos Mavesere: "Proud of the boys. good bowling"

So, West Indies rack up 159 for 7 after opting to bat first. Zimbabwe's bowlers actually did alright today. Prosper Utseya was at his frugal best, keeping the batsmen to just 22 in his first overs, and Chris Mpofu fulfilled his role as senior seamer with 1 for 28 in his four. For West Indies, Lendl Simmons was once again two paced, but effective, and Kieron Pollard was well nigh unstoppable. He started slowly, before launching his charge in the final overs. It could have been a lot worse for Zimbabwe if Pollard had really got going, but they don't have anyone of his power in their line-up, so 160 should be a stiff target. Join us in 10 minutes or so for the chase.

Andrew: "While there is a break on would like to know which zIm youngsters are next in line for a cap. mushangwe and mutombodzi seem to have done ok given their chance ..... Kasuza looked good, but been out of form the last year or so, Moore perhaps? ....."

Mpofu to Pollard, no run, great finish to the over by Mpofu! He ends with a yorker, Pollard almost swinging himself off his feet but unable to lay bat on it once again.
Mpofu to Pollard, no run, well bowled! This is brave stuff from Mpofu. He fires this one past Pollard's outside edge, the big man attempted to hammer it out of the ground but unable to get bat on ball.
Mpofu to Pollard, 2 runs, full, wide but Pollard slugs it out to deep midwicket. Sibanda is the fielder out there, but he's throwing into the wind so there's time for a second run. Taylor removes the bails as the throw comes in, but Pollard is home.
