So here ends England's first full tour of the UAE. A tour that has produced some fascinating cricket and some real stories. Plenty to feel good about and to think about for both teams. Where from here? Well Pakistan are next in action in the Asia Cup, which begins on March 11. England also have little break, flying out to Sri Lanka in two week's time ahead of their two-Test series. That's when I'll be back to describe the action so be good between now and then. But make sure you stay with the team for full coverage of all the major matches here on

This is the lowest total that England have ever defended in T20s. An absolutely outstanding effort with the ball and their fielding, apart from the one miss from Bairstow (who later redeemed himself to run out Afridi) was fantastic. Those three last overs from Dernbach and Broad were a perfect example of how to bowl at the death. They backed their skills and executed them perfectly.

A low-scoring thriller to end the tour. Kevin Pietersen, who is man of the match and man of the series, battled away in difficult conditions to set up some kind of score and the bowlers and fielders did the rest.

A great comeback from England since the hammering in the Test series, they dominated the ODI series and have now won the T20 series 2-1 and can take a great deal out of this tour, especially in a year where they will defend their World T20 title in September.

Dernbach to Misbah-ul-Haq, OUT, bowled him!! A slower ball out of the back of the hand, Misbah swings and missed and loses his leg stump. England win by five runs, an absolute thriller of a game!

Misbah-ul-Haq b Dernbach 28 (56m 32b 2x4 0x6) SR: 87.50

So Six to win off the last ball...goodness me what a finish to the tour...

Dernbach to Shahid Afridi, 1 run, OUT, slapped down to long on, the through comes back to the keeper's end, gone!! Afridi is run out trying to come back for the second, a fantastic flat, quick return to Kieswetter who again did brilliantly get the ball back onto the stumps

Shahid Afridi run out (Bairstow/†Kieswetter) 3 (6m 2b 0x4 0x6) SR: 150.00

Broad to Misbah-ul-Haq, FOUR runs, pulled down to long on and a miss by Bairstow! It runs for four!! What a time for a misfield! Just what Pakistan wanted
Broad to Umar Akmal, OUT, smashed straight up in the air and taken at long off. Another ball outside off, heave into the air and well taken by Swann out of the desert sky

Umar Akmal c Swann b Broad 22 (25m 23b 1x4 0x6) SR: 95.65

Finn to Umar Akmal, FOUR runs, gets down to paddle sweep and a huge top edge goes to fine third man
Patel to Misbah-ul-Haq, FOUR runs, outside off and slapped behind square for four! Useful stroke

Patel's last over...

Patel to Asad Shafiq, 1 run, OUT, worked into the leg side and they try to scramble a second but the dive is short. It was great work from Kieswetter who had to take the ball a long way away from the stumps but got the ball back with quick hands to run Shafiq out

Asad Shafiq run out (Buttler/†Kieswetter) 34 (48m 32b 3x4 0x6) SR: 106.25

Patel back on...

Broad to Asad Shafiq, FOUR runs, lucky now, an inside edge from one that nipped back and runs to the fine leg fence
Broad to Asad Shafiq, FOUR runs, full, a step down and lashed down the ground, no-one back and it runs for four
Swann to Awais Zia, OUT, length, played across the line, a huge cry for leg before and given out after an age. Deary me did the umpire take his time! But up goes the finger, replays suggest it pitched outside leg, even thought it spun sharply and probably hitting leg stump

Awais Zia lbw b Swann 23 (33m 28b 1x4 1x6) SR: 82.14

Finn to Asad Shafiq, FOUR runs, full, a genuine nick from a ball that nipped away, it evades the out stretched hand of Kieswetter and runs away for four, a real bonus for Pakistan
Dernbach to Awais Zia, FOUR runs, slower ball and seen early, cracked over extra cover. Another excellent stroke, a proper stroke, and this innings is doing some early damage
Finn to Awais Zia, SIX runs, picked up over extra cover for six. What a shot, perfectly timed, in complete control
Dernbach to Mohammad Hafeez, OUT, length and chipped back to the bowler and taken! Hafeez falls first ball! Simply popping a straight ball back to Dernbach who took the catch easily at shoulder height to his left

Mohammad Hafeez c & b Dernbach 0 (5m 1b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

No drama in that first over and now Jade Dernbach...

Finn to Awais Zia, 4 leg byes, leg side and off the pad for four, very poor with this field
