At 58 for 1 inside six overs, Pakistan were off to a blinder. It was Southee who turned it around for New Zealand with his first five-wicket haul in T20 internationals. Gul and Riaz hit out in the end to take Pakistan to 143 but that was never going to be enough on a ground where anything that beat the infield went to the boundary. And Guptill's innings finished off Pakistan's remaining chances. Taylor found some form towards the end, and New Zealand have what has been a largely comfortable win
