Full commentary

Well that's it Australia have won by 189 runs. Hopefully both teams can take something from this game as Australia warm-up for the ODI and T20 series with England and Scotland look to further their development as a cricketing nation.

It was a convincing win in the end for Australia but Scotland can go home with their heads held high. Hussey was impressive with the bat scoring 111 and he was backed up by Voges with 72 and Watson with 68. Goudie was the stand-out bowler for Scotland

with 5-73.

With a mammoth target of 346 Scotland were never going to win but they came out trying with Hamilton and Watts hitting out at the start but only Hamilton made a mark with 38 off 50 balls. Watts and McCallum both scored 24 and Berrington scored 25 but nobody carried on to create a score. It was a good showcase for Scottish cricket and credit to the groundstaff here at Grange for getting a quality wicket and outfield despite the heavy rain.

Well that's it for today and thanks for joining me Callum Stewart for our ball-by-ball coverage from Edinburgh. That's it for cricket in Scotland this season but we have the T20 and ODI series between England and Australia to look forward to.

Keep an eye out for the bulletin by Peter English but for now it's goodbye from us at Cricinfo and thanks for tuning in.
