My heart goes out for Bangladesh. The way they chased was exemplary and worth travelling miles to watch. Each one of their top order batsmen did their job and still found themselves short. Commendable performance by Sri Lanka too, as they kept their nerve under pressure and pulled off the win. Am sure people would remember it for years to come

Shakib Al Hasan is the man of the match

It has been a pleasure bringing the match to you all. Thanks for all the feedback and bye from Kanishkaa, Venkat Raghav, Pradeep and Manoj. Join us for the second test starting on January 3rd in Chittagong. Seasons greetings from all of us at Cricinfo

Muralitharan to Mushfiqur Rahim, OUT
gone! Rahim wants to keep the runs flowing as he takes the front foot out of the way and plays a forceful shot on the leg side. Pity that he does not clear Dilshan, at midwicket but what an innings from the little 'Baby'
