So the class between the two teams showed in the end. Bates and Watkin set out to attack the Irish bowling and that's what they did.

Ireland tried 6 bowlers in the 11 overs and yet none of them were spared the punishment.

Watkin had a debut that she is unlikely to forget, top scoring on 77*, although it was fitting that Suzie Bates hit the winning runs to finish the game.

With this being the only T20i, we start the first of the three ODI's on Friday. Its going to be back here at the YMCA ground. Hopefully the weather will be just an nice then.
