The South Africa side is all smiles while posing with the trophy, and why not? They came back from 0-1 down to win the series and didn't have Nortje for the decider. Yet, they came back well to edge past West Indies, who now host Australia for five T20Is and three ODIs starting just days later. But it's a wrap from us here for this tour, and a goodbye from Raghav, Shashank and me, Himanshu!

Soham : "No disrespect to SA but if WI couldn't win a series vs SA then the upcoming series against Pakistan and Australia look even more intimidating "

The winning captain Temba Bavuma will round off the presentation: "Very delighted, it's been an incredible effort from the boys. Winning the series can only boost our confidence. Looking at the World Cup gives us belief. Things are gelling, we were put under pressure from a skill point of view. Big stride forward for us."

Tabraiz Shamsi is the Player of the Series: "[I'm] somebody who likes to watch a lot of footage. Full credit goes to the entire bowling unit, which is why we won the series. There is a running joke in the team that the safest place to hit the ball is to hit it to me! People never gave us a chance. The teams played really well. To win 3-2 at their home ground shows something about the team."

Here's Kieron Pollard: "160-odd seems like a winning total, but we couldn't get over the line. We made the same mistakes over and over again. We had set up the game well with guys in the shed, and so it's disappointing... One of the positives for us is the young bowlers - McCoy, Sinclair. Hopefully, we can regroup as in five or six days we have the Australians in the Caribbean. [Squad for the T20 WC?] It's there and thereabouts, we have an idea of what to do."

Aiden Markram is the Player of the Match: "[On his stand with de Kock] Lot of credit has to go to Quinny, he's played a lot of T20 cricket. He was guiding me, as he's spent a lot of time on this pitch. He's a special player. [South Africa's fielding in the series] Credit to the fielding coach - he's put us through the hard yards. The attitude of the players towards Justin Ontong has been great."

Time now for the presentation for the final time on this tour.

Andy: "Congrats SA, you guys totally deserve to win the series. Well played!" --- That's the spirit!

Muhammad Abbas : "Problem with this windies team is they have too many allrounders and not many specialist in their lineup... impact players like bravo Russell pollard can only fit one per team as we have seen in IPL or any other franchise league"

Morné: "With that over, Ngidi narrowly manages too not concede the most runs in a bilateral series, staying on 197. Chris Jordan still holds the record, conceding 198 runs against India earlier this year." --- That's some observation.

Julian Freeman: "AB called it by 20 runs. Just shows you he knows his stuff " --- Isn't he a genius?

For once it did feel that South Africa were at least 20 short after de Kock and Markram were firing at the top, but their bowlers did it again.

5.53pm And so the visitors take both the Test and the T20I series. A very competitive series comes to an end with yet another total defended. West Indies were given a good platform by Lewis, who fired again at the top, but his middle-order colleagues couldn't take it much further. Credit to Shamsi, whose economical and impactful spin bowling continues to make a dent in the opposition line-up. Not sure how much hurting his hamstring affected Pollard, but his and Russell's wickets back-to-back meant South Africa sniffed a win right then.

19.6
Ngidi to Edwards, no run

and another play-and-miss. Edwards goes for the heave to this slower ball on a full length outside off, and can't get anything on it. And with that, South Africa win by 25 runs to take the series 3-2

19.5
Ngidi to Edwards, no run

much fuller and outside off, and Edwards' swing of the bat finds only the thin air

19.4
Ngidi to Edwards, no run

tries to make room, as Ngidi pitches it short and slightly outside off. Edwards misses his ramp as this was bowled slower again

Suresh Ch: "Issue with WI is their batting line-up. No proper 1 or 2 down batsmen. Boss is a misfit at 3."

19.3
1
Ngidi to Hosein, 1 run

full-toss on off, driven powerfully to deep extra cover

Edwards is the last man, but at the bowler's end as the batters crossed

19.2
W
Ngidi to McCoy, OUT

taken at deep midwicket. Another change-of-pace delivery but this was shorter and wide of off, as McCoy's pull finds Mulder on the fence to give Ngidi his third wicket

Obed McCoy c Mulder b Ngidi 1 (3b 0x4 0x6) SR: 33.33
19.1
Ngidi to McCoy, no run

slower ball and very full on off, beaten on the heave as the ball just passes his off stump

Ngidi to complete the formalities

Rohit B: "Ngidi is the weak link in this South African bowling line up. On the other hand, Mulder has been a great introduction today, can really hold one end in the middle overs and find the crucial wicket too!"

good length ball and a change of pace on off. Hosein swings his bat, but can't get bat on ball

18.5

Rabada to McCoy, 1 run

yorker length ball on off, jammed off the outside edge to third man while swinging to the on side

18.4
1
Rabada to Hosein, 1 run

driven aerially to deep extra cover, with Rabada bowling full and just outside off to avert the hat-trick

McCoy the new man, but Hosein to face the hat-trick ball

18.3
W
Rabada to Pooran, OUT

and that's probably the match! Another scrambled seam ball dug into the pitch on a good length outside off, as Pooran pulls but gets a top edge to de Kock, who goes to his left to nab a simple catch. Rabada on a hat-trick here

Nicholas Pooran c †de Kock b Rabada 20 (14b 0x4 2x6) SR: 142.85

Hosein is the new man, but the non-striker

18.2
W
Rabada to Dwayne Bravo, OUT

sliced high and Bavuma runs back toward deep point to complete an excellent catch. Scrambled seam ball on a good length on off, and Bravo goes full throttle only to get an outside edge as the South Africa captain continues his great day on the field

Dwayne Bravo c Bavuma b Rabada 1 (2b 0x4 0x6) SR: 50

Over the wicket

18.1
1
Rabada to Pooran, 1 run

lofts that to deep third man, as Rabada bowls from wider of the crease on a full length outside off

30 from 12. Who's in for a last-ball thriller? Meanwhile, Rabada will finish off.

Cricologist: "Idk how match impact figures work but that was on poorly impactful performance from Heytmer, 33 off 31! Hasn't really fulfilled his potential in the past year or so."

over long-off this time! This time it is sliced off a full length outside off, as he stays deep in his crease and clears his front leg for another maximum

Ngidi to Pooran, SIX runs

cracked over deep midwicket! In the slot on middle and off, and Pooran goes down on his back knee to swing it across the line for a six

17.3
1
Ngidi to Dwayne Bravo, 1 run

goes searching for the yorker and gets that very full outside off. Drilled to long-off

Here's DJ Bravo in at No. 8. Can he provide some magic with the bat? Ngidi from over the wicket

Sam: "Shamsi deserves player of the series. He was great vs Pak, but to maintain such low econ. rates vs this WI line-up is magnificent."

17.2
W
Ngidi to Hetmyer, OUT

taken at long-on! Ngidi goes for the yorker on middle and off, and Hetmyer tries to slam that over the rope by clearing his front leg. But that was too full a ball to try and slog, as it ended up in Miller's hands to leave West Indies in further trouble

Shimron Hetmyer c Miller b Ngidi 33 (31b 1x4 2x6) SR: 106.45
17.1
1
Ngidi to Pooran, 1 run

full length ball just outside off, driven to deep extra cover for a single again

Ngidi returns. Around the wicket with 45 needed from 18 balls

Earl: "Batsmen who disregard the principle of hitting the ball on the ground or picking gaps will fall to poor balls."

shuffles across, and Mulder bowls very full and wide of off. He'll have to bowl that again
