Barresi, Borren fifties give Netherlands big win

Scotland captain Preston Mommsen's unbeaten 44-ball 68 went in vain after his bowlers and fielders conceded too many runs, to allow Netherlands to amass 191 for 6, for a 32-run win

Man of the Match Evans: It's nice to take wicket sin any format of the game. i try and keep things simple and stick to the two-three plans we make. Batters will go hard and hard and if you stick to your plans you can get wickets.

Preston Mommsen: We play that brand of cricket where we play hard early on but it didn't pay off, we laid the platform but it wasn't enough. The score was 10-15 above par and our fielding let us down, that was the difference.

Peter Borren: Really good performance, we managed to get a couple of guys got going. We talked about giving ourself a bit of a chance, we'll always go hard in the first six, always. It's a good wicket and I agree with Preston that 175 was par and it might be a good ground for chasing but 190 is challenging. We are a lot happier now, today we played good cricket against a good side.

That's all we have from this match, do keep an eye on the other matches too going on in the Qualifiers. Goodbye and good luck!

Sohan Pandey: "@Scott I know very well. They need to be in top 4 in ICC WC Qualifier or Top 2 in ICC WCL"

1.03pm Three wickets in four balls and that seals Netherlands' convincing win over Scotland. mommsen stays unbeaten till the end with his 68, running out of partners under a soaring required rate. Bukhari picks up three wickets and their spinners did a very good job today - van der Merwe and Seelaar. Win by 32 runs

Scott: "I think a lot of people following associate cricket don't understand how ODI status is granted. The ICC don't just give teams the status, they have to earn it through performances."
