That brings an end to our coverage today. Big double header day coming up with Sydney Sixers taking on Hobart Hurricanes, and Perth Scorchers facing off against Adelaide Strikers tomorrow. Hope to see you then. Until then, it's goodbye. Thank you for joining us.

Aaron Finch has been named Man of the Match for his 37-ball 63 which set up the platform for Renegades' total.

So Thunder have slipped to their second consecutive defeat. This was not the start to the title defense they would have hoped for at the start of the season. It seemed as though Renegades and Thunder were batting on different surfaces. But all credit to Renegades' bowlers for making run-scoring hard through intelligent variations of pace. Brad Hogg and Sunil Narine used their guile and variations to pick up wickets, while Dwayne Bravo kept the pressure on at the other end, taking the pace off the ball and forcing the batsmen to use their power to clear the ground which isn't always easy.Ryan Gibson and Ben Rohrer made decent contributions, but didn't exactly score at the pace needed while chasing 180. Cummins was the only batsman who was able to hit them quick, and long and hard. He has worked on his power-hitting over the last few months and that is starting to show. The rest cut a sorry figure.

Shyve: "16.5 and 16.6 not played by Cummins. " The second one was as they had crossed over. 16.5 has been corrected. Thanks

Rimmington to Fawad Ahmed, OUT, is that the end of the innings? Going by the reactions of the Renegades, seems like it is. It was a fuller ball which Fawad drove to mid-off. McKay sets off for the single but is sent back. Finch runs in quickly, gathers the ball and fires a direct throw to catch McKay short

CJ McKay run out (Finch) 0 (0b 0x4 0x6)

Bravo to Cummins, OUT, holes out to deep midwicket. It was full and angling in. Cummins has nailed some lusty blows this evening but can't get hold of this one. Slogs and sends it straight down the throat of deep midwicket

PJ Cummins c Harris b Bravo 36 (23b 0x4 4x6) SR: 156.52

Bravo to Cummins, no run, short of a length, not much room, so the attempted cut goes off the bottom edge to the keeper

Bravo to Cummins, 1 run, OUT, yes-and-no sees the back of Doran. Cummins was desperate to keep strike, so he calls for the second run after mistiming this attempted heave over midwicket. Doran is watching the ball and does not respond. He is forced to do so late as Cummins is a long way down the track and has nearly completed the second run. The throw comes in at the wicketkeeper's end before he fires a throw at the other end and Bravo collects the ball and takes out the bails

JR Doran run out (Harris/†Nevill/Bravo) 3 (3b 0x4 0x6) SR: 100.00

Bravo to Cummins, 4 byes, very full and on leg stump channel. Seems like it has gone through everyone. Actually, he's got an inside edge as he jammed his bat down to squeeze it out. The ball beats the diving wicketkeeper to the fine leg boundary

Bravo to Cummins, 1 wide, fires it wide outside off, Cummins leaves it alone and this time, it's clearly a wide

Bravo to Cummins, 1 run, full toss, whipped away wide of long-on, comes back for the second run, one short called by the umpire.

Bravo to Cummins, 2 runs, full toss, worked down the ground to long-on. Does not get the timing right, so the fielder has to run in to field and they steal the second run

Bravo to Green, OUT, full and outside off. Green tries to heave it straight down the ground but does not get enough power on it. Bravo isn't bowling the at great pace and it's another simple catch for Finch at long-off

Bravo to Cummins, 1 run, low, dipping full toss outside off, it was the slower one and Cummins was looking to swat it away to the leg side. Gets an inside edge to the pad instead. Could have very easily chopped in on to the stumps
