12:05am And that is all tonight! Thanks for joining us and we hope you enjoyed it.

Russell: Co-ordination, good balance and I generate a lot of power from my shoulders. You have to make sure your body is fit and strong. Definitely one of my best T20 days. We knew we needed to get 200+. Just goes to show. Just over 200, it would have been a different game. But well done to the bowlers.

Andre Russell is the Man of the Match.

DK: I think at the end of the day it's about making your processes are right. As much as it sounds like a cliche, that's all you can do in a sport like this. At the end of the day, it's just a game. Lot of bickering can creep in and I'm aware of that.

[on Russell] Terrific. He's a special player for us. He's special in this tournament. The way he's responded to different situations, he's shown maturity and I was just telling him that.

b>Hardik: I was just saying to Krunal, "damn, I was close to a 100." Lucky today, everything was coming off. To be honest, with this kind of total, you don't think much. Go out there, hold your shape, express yourself. I knew I couldn't take time. I just wanted to go out there and enjoy myself, and if I got out, so be it, because the situation demanded it. If you have confidence, it makes a huge difference.

It was difficult for one guy to keep doing it. My plan was just to come as close to the total, and then look for the win.

Rohit: You gotta start well, which didn't happen for us. We kept losing wickets which added pressure. Never know, if someone had played a hand with Hardik...[bowling to KKR] We tried everything we could. We bowled the yorkers, the bouncers, the variations as well. You've got to give credit to their batsmen. Lynn and Shubman gave them the start, Russell at the end. Learning for us today, on what to do when nothing's going your way.

When you have a score like that, you've got to believe you can chase it because it can be daunting otherwise. We needed partnerships, we needed someone to bat with Hardik. That didn't happen.

We've got to regroup. As a team we've done some good things, we just have to believe in our abilities. There are times like these where we'll be tested.

Ashok Subramani: "7 fours and 1 six difference between 2 sides....and thats exactly the victory margin for KKR...If only MI had pushed on in the first 9 overs...Anyways kudos to Hardik!"

Shabaz: "Excellent innings by Pandya. Reminded me of Raina's blinder of 87 of 26 balls vs Kings XI in 2014 which was also a high scoring match and which also ended in a losing cause. Nevertheless unlike that this innings will be remembered for quite sometime! Pandya is my man of the match for sure!"

Supradeep: "As good as Russel and Hardik were, Subhman Gill played extra ordinarily well. Do not forget his contribution for KKR."

When he finally fell for 91 off 34, he had hit a six every 3.7 balls. Read more about Hardik Pandya, the six-hitting superstar

Supradeep: "As good as Russel and Hardik were, Subhman Gill played extra ordinarily well. Do not forget his contribution for KKR."

11:42pm Win number 100 for Knight Riders. We've seen two T20 geniuses on display today, and the difference between their teams, those 20 other lesser mortals on the field, is just 34 runs. But it's 34 big runs that keeps Knight Riders alive. A win that comes hours after RCB's 100th loss, a definitive pulling away from the bottom of the table.

Chawla to Krunal, OUT

gets him! At long last, some individual happiness for Chawla. And it is compounded by the fact that this is his 150th in the IPL. He's been effective for KKR for a long, long time, but it's been tough going tonight. Beats Krunal with a googly again. Gets the top edge on his slog sweep and this time he takes it himself, running backwards

He's made the pitch look like a joke earlier this evening, before returning for a spell of 2 wickets at 6.25 on the same pitch. Might be an okay player...

Gurney to Hardik, OUT

taken at deep midwicket! Andre Russell holds on to end a manic, outlandish, outrageous little big knock from Hardik Pandya. Make no mistake, it was an innings of pure genius. But Gurney's slower ball does him this time. He slices the attempted pull and it is taken calmly at the line
