It was set up by a devastating knock from Robin Uthappa and their bowlers turned in an inspired performance on a pitch that had some bounce in it to restrict Chennai to 135. Hang on for quotes from the post-match ceremony.

Suresh Raina : "Robin batted really well but we dropped two catches of his - that made the difference. We didnt bat well in the middle. We have to work on batting , two games we haven't chased well and we also need to think about batting line-up. Hopefully we will do well in the next game. We have to work hard in the practice."

Anil Kumble "It's great to win at home and in front of the full house. Robin played exceptionally well and the bowling unit - all of us bowled very well. It's great to have a full house. To have home support ... nothing like it. I am really proud of the way we played today. No matter what you have strategy you have outside the field, I am really pleased how we are executing our plans on the field. To have some one like Steyn who is bowling at such pace .. everyone ..I don't like to look at the table but it's nice to be there (at the top of the table)

Man of the match is Robin : "We just wanted to make sure we had wickets in the end so that we can go after bowling in the end. The wicket was bit difficult to bat on. It had some spongy bounce, you needed to get set before you went after the bowling. Everything went according to plan. The team enviroment has been phenomenal. Anil has brought the boys together really well and the internationals have really helped the atmosphere "

That's it from us. Thanks for logging on. Good bye and good luck!
