Amit Mishra: "The first hat-trick was better. This would rank second in that list. I am bowling really well. Thanks to Deccan Chargers for supporting me. Sangakkara and now White have supported me. I am looking forward to bowl well in West Indies."

Moorthy: "@Sanjay: I don't think Chennai has already qualified for the top 2 position enough to automatically qualify for Champions League. Chennai can still lose badly to Bangalore and if Mumbai wins KKR by good margin, Mumbai can become 2nd by better NRR"

Sahil: "@Sanjay - How can u be sure that Chennai has qualified for Champions League.Considering Bangalore's form CSK might lose and KKR and MI have the chance of upstaging CSK on a better NRR.So its still an open game for all the four teams."

Gilchrist: "My toss decision was wrong. I got caught up in the run rate, rain forecast and stuff. That combined with the worst fielding performance on the field didn't help on the bad day. I don't think it was pressure; it just went all wrong. I didn't sense any tension in the group in the build up. We can sit back and pleased about the way we came back. But it was frustrating today. There is plenty to take away from this. It was a good fun to be part. Nice feeling in the group and franchise in general. Shaun and Valthaty were outstanding. We didn't bat well around them in the heart of the tournament. We batted well at the start and finished well but didn't do well in the middle. In bowling, Praveen Kumar did very well. I don't know about (next year)., I have some time to think about it."

Cameron White "It worked out pretty well. You can't ask more than 198 in Twenty20, Shikhar and Teja played well. We did well today; unfortunately we didn't do so well in some other games. The squad is very talented; we have two best spinners in the country. Promising signs of IPL5, It was good to win"

Man of the match is Shikhar Dhawan : "The first run .. I was regretting it. I was hitting the ball well during the tournament and this (innings) was due. The ball was coming nicely and once we started hitting boundaries we knew we can get a big score. Ravi played some awesome shots. The team has done well in the last three games and it's nice to end on a winning note. I will be training to get more fit for the domestic season. I have just played one game for India and If i get another chance, I would like to play for long."

That's it from us. Good bye. Wonder whether we have seen the last of Adam Gilchrist. Whadddaaaplaayaaaaaaa!

Anand to Chawla, OUT

Bhatt is run out. The slower one was pushed to the off side of the pitch, Anand got to it and found the stumps at the striker's end. Punjab's dreams evaporate into the hills of Mcleodganj. Good brave effort from them at the end of the tournament and they nearly sneaked through. But that's that. Some joy for Deccan.

Folks see the highlights. Joy and agony for Duminy! Piyush lashed this high towards cover boundary. Duminy ran to his left, then realised it was going over him, back pedaled and lunged back to catch it but fell on the ropes!

Mishra to Harris, OUT

Hattrick for Amit! He is beyond joy. And is mobbed by his team-mates. It was the googly that bounced extra even as it broke in from outside off and Harris was cramped as he went for the cut. They had the second slip/gully for this hat-trick delivery and it flew to him. Good sharp catch. Amit hops in joy
