Interestingly, one thing that stood out in that Rahul Dravid interview, was that when he was asked about the home advantage at Jaipur, he replied something on the lines of, "It's a good cricket wicket back at Jaipur, it's not about home advantage there, it's about who plays the better cricket on that wicket that wins." On that note, Suneer Chowdhary here, signing off from today's live coverage of the game, will be back next week...till then have a very good night ahead!

--------

Yusuf Pathan remains stranded on 49 but I don't think that should matter, what should is that his 49 helped his side win the game. Yep, KKR have won their fourth this season and have barely kept themselves alive, while Rajasthan now continue to have 12 points from their 10 games. In the end, Kallis looked very disappointed at hitting that boundary, apologises to Pathan, who was more than happy to have remained there till the end.

Quotes from presentation:

Dravid:

had to try something different, they had all the aces and needed to score as many as possible in the first 10. Was a touch wicket to bat on. There were a lot of positives to come from this, batted well, did not bowl too well on this wicket. Samson is a very good kid, long way to go for him and we allow him to keep his feet on ground.

Gambhir

It was important to win here, we needed to get ourselves out of the situation we were in and we did well today. Spin has been our strength, we have got quality and they have done well. Completely different venue at Ranchi, hopefully we get the same support there too.

Pathan is the man of the match:

Good to see everyone happy when I score. Today I had a lot of time to bat, which gave me confidence to play well. It was an important match, needed to win it and we did it.
