10:37pm And that is it from our coverage. So much to talk about from this game and our writers and experts are on it. For Delhi fans - Ashwin was at the presentation without a sling and feels he's ready for the next game, so it could be a lot less worse than was first reported. KXIP fans - lines and margins, sound familiar? Thanks all for joining us. We'll see you tomorrow.

M Stoinis: It's a weird game, isn't it? Sometimes the luck goes your way but you can easily go from hero to villain. You just try and feed on everyone's energy. It's nice that the IPL's got going again. We were nervous for a bit. Didn't think there'd be a Super Over tonight.

Marcus Stoinis is the Man of the Match.

Iyer: It was so difficult to stand out there. I would like to say that we're used to this - even last season. Kagiso is a gamechanger for us. If you see out top order batsmen, it's difficult to stop them when they get going, so it's difficult to tell them not to. There was grass on the pitch and it was moving and we discovered that in 3-4 overs. I wouldn't give the lights as the reason for poor catching. But that's not the reason because we got one session to train here under the lights. It was really important for us to get wickets because the total was small. Back of my mind I knew that if I save KG's overs for the end, it'll work out. Credit to Ashwin, he almost changed the game in that over. It's up to the physio but Ashwin said he is available for the next game. It was really gutsy of [Axar] to lead the team in that area. It's good to know in the back of mind that I have an extra spinner who can pick it up. [Super Over combo] we usualy go left-rigth combination, it becomes difficult for the bowler.

R Ashwin is at the presentation without a sling. Good signs.

Did you think Chris Jordan's one-short run was a one-short run? Head over to our Rolling Report to cast your vote and settle the debate.

K Rabada: There'll always be nerves for me no matter how long I play when things get tight. Luckily it came off today. [Super Over thought process] It just depends what works for me on the day and just getting a feel for what might work as well. Today it was just mixing the lengths up and it worked. There's decent bounce in this wicket, and the boundaries are quite big. So it'll take a bit to clear it. So I backed myself. [The Jordan catch] I just stuck my hand out. The ball before I was moved into the position so credit to him. It was just a reaction catch.

KL Rahul: It is bittesrsweet. At the end of 10 overs I would have taken the Super Over. We wish to learn from our mistakes and build as a team. Mayank was unbelievable. to get the game that close is a magical effort. That is the type of innings we expect from someone like him. Nice to see him bring his confidence to the IPL. Obviously this gets the group closer. Like I said at the toss, we didn't really know what to expect of the pitch. Didn't think it would be sticky, but both teams got 150+. [Captaincy] I'd gladly take it as a captain, most important is the effort. We made a few mistakes, but that's a learning for the group. If you saw the dressing room, even at 55 for 5 it was a calm dressing room.

10:14pm Whew. Have you got your breath back? Just so much happened in both innings that made us wonder - how did it get here? Stoinis' freak innings got Delhi 57 in the last three. Then a total collapse, including two in an over from Ashwin before his unfortunate exit with a shoulder injury. Mayank Agarwal, whow as struggling for rhythm at the start - remember him pumping his fists and speaking animatedly to K Gowtham when they needed about 12 an over after hitting his first six of the night. He believed then, and it was optimistic at best. But wow did he kick on from there. It's taken a while for someone of his caliber to play an innings like this in the IPL - but how do you reckon he feels right now? 1 off 3, caught off a full toss. That will sting. And so will it for Jordan too. Spare a thought for him - conceded 30 off the last over, was at the end of a contentious call for short run, and still had the opportunity to close it all off and redeem himself. Except, that full toss was hit straight to Rabada - who then showed what closing a game off means. Glenn Maxwell didn't get a ball in the Super Over. KXIP didn't even get all six balls. Stunning, stunning game.

that does it. Full on leg stump, leans in on the front foot and turns this to fine leg's left. A dive there, a good effort, but enough time for them to come back for a second

Iyer and Pant are Delhi's batsmen.

Cain: "On boy! Pooran gets a pair in a T20 game. Is there anyone else who has already achieved this feat?" --- Moises Henriques got one for Sydney Sixers against Perth Scorchers in 2014

This is also the lowest Super Over score in the IPL

Remember, Rabada defended against Russell in a Super Over last year. Superb stuff. Delhi need three to win. Mohammed Shami is warkimg up for KXIP.

Rabada to Pooran, OUT

bowled him! All over. Rabada, the Super Over expert. Delhi Capitals need three to win. Full and at off stump. Front leg in the leg side, looks to slog it into the leg side, head all out of position and KXIP won't even finish their over

Maxwell is the third batsman for KXIP

9:56pm Kings XI will be miffed. Not least because 18.3 was a contentious short run call. Jordan turned for the second and it didn't appear like it was a short run. They then needed one off three and have somehow managed to find themselves in a Super Over, despite two full tosses in the last two balls. Wow. Once again, somehow, with Stoinis involved, Delhi Capitals stay alive in the game. They will, of course, have the ball for the Super Over.

he's found sweeper cover! Can you believe it! All fielders in the circle, only the sweeper back. It's a full toss wide outside off. He swishes at it, just trying to guide it, but he's found Hetmyer! Oh he'll kick himself for this. What an innings it has been, falls just short of taking them over

Towels, water, two substitues. KXIP will give Mayank whatever he needs right now. 25 off 12 with a Rabada over coming up. What's he thinking? 10 runs? Will he back himself to get 15 against Stoinis in the 20th? Our forecaster has their win probability at 18.1%
