Delhi go to the top of the table. They were expected to after limiting Mumbai to 116, and though they were kept in check after the loss of their openers, a gift-over from Tendulkar relieved the pressure significantly. He bowled dollies, and de Villiers did well to give them the deserved treatment to help take his team to its sixth win in the competition. Delhi are the team to beat now, and Mumbai, after an encouraging start to the tournament, lose yet another one, this time while batting first. They remain in seventh place, and their chances at a place in the top four are gradually withering away. Join us in a bit for the presentation.

Tendulkar: "We were very much there with our bowling and fielding except my over. We didn't want to give them pace onto the bat, which is why I brought myself on and that is where things started changing."

Nehra is the Man of the Match

Nehra: "I'm bowling quite well especially with the old ball. I'm bowling well in the slog overs, and up front, I was bowling against the wind but it's going well. This game was very important, and a couple of more wins and we can seal a place in the semi finals."

Gambhir: "It was important to carry the momentum, it's a format where once you lose it, it's difficult to get it back. We had wickets in hand, so we were confident of pulling it off despite needing eight-an-over. We bowled really well to restrict them. We want Sehwag back when he is fully fit, but we don't want to rush him in."

That's all we have from here folks. Thanks for your feedback. Hope you enjoyed the coverage. Until tomorrow, it's goodbye from all of us here at Cricinfo.

Steve: "This has been Mumbai's problem throughout the tournament, too many bowling choices and the inability of Sachin to use them at the right time. There was no need for him to bring himself on, Bravo could have bowled out from that end and let Malinga and Raje finish the other two overs. Its so disappointing. "

The end of a matchwinning stand. Handled the pressure well after the loss of the openers.
