dropped, Taylor swipes across the line, gets a top edge that goes over the keeper, Pollard runs towards it from behind point on the off side, gets both hands to it, and drops it, and Rajasthan celebrate
MI vs RR, 34th match at Jaipur, IPL, Apr 29 2011 - Match Result
RR won by 7 wickets (with 11 balls remaining)
Rajasthan Royals have been awesome today, led astutely by Warne, who didn't get to bowl at Tendulkar but certainly out-thought him. This victory takes Rajasthan to No. 2 in the points table. Mumbai are still No. 1.
"Very happy with the win, against a good team," says Botha. "Nice to bat on good wickets (!) against the new ball. Really happy with my performance. We just wanted to start well and that's what we did. We picked up two-three wickets in the first six overs and that's always key ... 120-130 would have been a tough chase."
Sachin Tendulkar: "Tough pitch, different to what we played on in Mumbai. Don't want to take the credit away from Rajasthan, who bowled and fielded well. It was two-paced, the ball kept low. Lost early wickets, were not able to rotate strike. 130 would have been a challenging total. We were not able to accelerate in the middle overs."
Shane Warne: "We generally play these conditions well, we know what to expect. Bowlers executed plans exceptionally. The intensity was fantastic. We spent a lot of time planning, we put it all together. Our planning was very good, and our bowlers were good enough. Our start was a bit slow but we didn't want to give Malinga early wickets, so our batting plan worked as well. Johan's definitely grabbed his opportunity ... he's experienced and is a smart cricketer."
Johan Botha is the Man of the Match for taking 3 for 6 and scoring 45. "I was a little nervous, bowling so late, but it came good for me. (While batting) I tried not to over hit the ball, play as straight as possible. It was stopping and the odd one was skidding low, if they bowled straight it was difficult to score."
Well that's it from me, but Sid R's just beginning commentary for Bangalore v Pune, so go over there and flood him with emails. Thank you for your feedback today, much appreciated. Cheers.

"You have to Appreciate this Botha. People laughed when he was bought for 900K. But now he helped them win at least 3 matches with the bat." says Devgowda. Agreed, I laughed too.

a full ball crashes into the batsman's pads after the attempted flick is unsuccessful, that was missing leg
full and straight, the batsman is ready, and he defends with a straight bat towards the bowler
Malinga's final over begins ...
the keeper hits direct at the batsman's end after the batsman bottom edges the ball over his stumps, but the single has already been stolen
"As MI fan I have to say, with this Req. RR Malinga is almost useless. They are just going to block him with short backlift," says Nick.

Atish: "As long as Malinga has an over left, I have not lost hope. Remember his 4 wickets against SA. That can do it for us here. Current RR and Reqd RR are pretty much the same right now."
