So, Afghanistan have won the match quite comfortably by 5 wickets and they are the new plate champions, thanks to the unbeaten hundred from Tariq Stanikzai.Congratulations to them. They started very well with the ball and kept taking wickets on regular intervals. That pegged Zimbabwe back and restricted them for a decent total of 216.Afghan spinners were too good for Zimbabwe to handle. They didn't let the Zimbabwe batsmen settle down and build big partnerships. Their fielding was very good too. After losing six wickets for just 116 runs, Zimbabwe came back to the game with some partnerships from Murray, Mashinge and Keefe. It helped them post a decent total at the end.

To be precise, Zimbabwe haven't been able to overcome their struggle against spin. These young players had no answer against some quality spin bowling from Afghanistan.Their batsmen haven't been able to provide their bowlers a good total to bowl at.

And when the Afghans came to bat, they kept their calm and chased the total down in professional manner. They never looked like out of control in this match.Though they lost some early wickets too, thanks to Tariq and Rashid for their tremendous effort that helped Afghanistan win the Plate championship. They haven't showed up any nerve in this match of high pressure.

As a unit, Afghans outplayed the Zimbabuians in every department, be it batting, bowling or fielding.Kudoz to their brand of fearless cricket.

We have come to know that Tariq Stanikzai has been awarded Man of The Match for his one wicket with the ball and then an unbeaten hundred with the bat.Well deserved i must say. He certainly is one for the future.A star in making we can say.

So, that's all for today. This is your commentator Abdullah Mahzabin signing out for today. Thank you all for staying with us till now. We will be back again with live coverage.Till then, stay safe and stay with cricket.
